A man charged with a murder in Plano and who police say is linked to a double murder the same day in Arlington admits he was at the scenes of both crimes but wasn’t the triggerman.
Franklin Barnes is currently in Collin County Jail. In June 2018 four cases were filed against Barnes in Collin County court, 3 charges of Attempt to Commit Murder and one charge of Murder. In July 2018 a case was filed with the charge of Capital Murder of Multiple Persons in Tarrant County courts. These cases have yet to go to trial.
That boy is innocent don't look like a killer y'all need to do y'all damn job n find the killer give him a lie detector test so he can prove he innocent so he can leave..yall do believe n them... y'all need to go ask his damn weed man
Number One I can’t ever tell if comments like this are humor or what you honestly believe. “Be safe. Keep ya head up. DON’T DO NOTHING STUPID.” What a great way to end that interview. Cell phone placed him there. HE ADMITTED BEING THERE. Drove an hour at 4 or 5 in the morning to visit his gf an hour away? Texts showing he bought weed/knew who he killed. You’re right. Just classic racist America jailing another random black kid because he’s black. This is why the black race never succeeds and breaks barriers. It’s always ‘he’s innocent. It’s racism.’ Like were you with him then? How do you know he’s innocent? It’s just the go to for everything. He’s innocent. Free my homie. Ya dig.
Anaya Chanel I respect your comment so much. Simple, but so powerful!! Faith as real as yours seems moves mountains!!! It’ll work out for him. I hope life is fruitful and prosperous for you and that you continue to be blessed.
You can feel his energy!! Bro innocent until proven guilty god got your man stay strong 💪🏾 I believe they got the wrong man seems like a good guy who got dealt the wrong hand hope you get the justice you deserve bro much love .
N a real life situation, his state lawyer may not give not one bit,he may need to get a copy from the guy interviewing him,it's all sound up up,he needs to find all the ppl who has his back now, have them write out statements for your records, pass crimes, schooling, goals n life, keep your head up,you will be your best or worst power,it's looking really bad ,get all your records bout everything, of the dead, ppl paperwork....proof of were u were at that time.....cme
StendoBeatz He's still locked up. It's not looking good for him. 3 of the survivors that were shot had identified him as the shooter in a photo line up
sheskimusic multiple people that he shot survived and all said it was him. It was him, just because he can keep his cool doesn’t mean he’s innocent, if anything it shows he’s empty inside and doesn’t feel remorse.
Pain??? "Arlington Police say you're responsible for two people shot and killed there" "Yeah, I heard about that" Wtf kind of response is that? He may not have done it, but no doubt he was there and involved somehow.
This is so crazy I went to job corps with this guy he didn’t kill anyone he’s cool and outgoing I hope he gets out and get to live his life I hate to see him like this.
I'm no physcological expert but if I ever saw someone telling the truth and facts the way it happened then it's that young man right there. I hope that he will get the justice he deserves and eventually be free to live life in the way he chooses. Freedom please for this young man
Facts. He look like a teen stoner who got alot of gangbanging friends but he aint built for jail. This man talking bout "keep your face in the bible". He innocent asf. ShesMacy
So from my understanding he went to buy weed the guy he purchased from ended up dead they assume it was him because his cell phone pinged that location around that time which makes sense if he purchased weed but did they find a gun or anything when they went to his home??? Man talk about being at the wrong place and at the wrong time. Do anyone have an update on him? I would love to know! I hope he got to go home.
First two in car, engine still running, he purchased weed, both dead. They had to of had more information first on him before requesting phone records. They can't go to a phone company and say hey give me all pings in this vicinity etc. So either cameras, someone got the car and licence plate. There is at least two people here Franklin and the girlfriend, but his story is her friend was with them, so did her friend wait behind, was she in the car with them, did she drive and follow them. So potential 1 or 2 witnesses here? He then travelled to the next dealer and he's dead as well. The GF is now in her friends car per him saying in his interview, ( assume to went back home/school etc.) Doubt you can be in the wrong place, at the wrong time for two different murders. He is still awaiting trial. Takes a while if two different counties, two different cases, two different prosecutions, two different judges, two different lawyers (maybe can only find one) two different law enforcements, two different juries, and then throw in the pandemic, lockdown, all cases pushed back etc bizarre how it's not ready for court though.
@Dest Iny I was thinking the same thing..so 3 dead and he placed himself in the 2nd location. So did he shoot the other 3 to throw investigators off like it was random. I don't believe him honestly. Coincidences too close.
They haven’t even had the trial and he’s still in jail. He seems innocent and is very calm. This boy is very calm. I hope Justice is served. Where is the gun to prove he killed these people.
I remember first watching this interview a few years ago and I really wondered if this guy will be set free, damn these trials in the US should come around quicker this young man's life is being torn apart, lord knows I hope he is innocent.
@@jackmills2802 He is as cold a killer as you're ever likely to come across. He has been convicted and his guilt is now beyond question. He thought he could brazen it out in this interview, the sheer arrogance of him is frightening. Probably reared as an only child and got into the habit of doubling down on lies to his parents until he was believed through lack of evidence to the contrary. This can often be the case with compulsive and arrogant liars.
I hate to say it but I hope he does to at least clear his name or shorten his sentence this boy is young he has his whole life ahead of him I hope things worked out for him
Ikr ? That young man's an old soul....AND innocent of that crime. Our Most High God, Ancestor's, Spirit Guides.... PLEASE release this young man from the hands of the unjust and prison and allow ALL those who are apart of his time behind bars, reap what they have sown in this lifetime, let them want sleep but never get it, let them want food but their bodies reject it, let them suffer life here on Earth any way that you see fit until they repent, apologize and tell the truth about this young man being innocent.
The interviewer had no idea what a plug was, bet he had no idea what kicking it means either 😂 and when he said ya dig in wondering if the interviewer understood one word the dude had to say
I'm with you 100%, all things are possible with God. The problem here is that God is truth and you can't say you have faith in God while you are relying on deception. This young man doesn't seem to have grasped that concept, he should admit to his guilt and then put his faith in God.
OHIO ONE I don’t think he did it. Are you God? No, so don’t spread judgement. You don’t know if he did it or not. Truth will come but he is innocent unless proven guilty.
@Delgado smooth I hope (for his sake) he didn't. However, it is hard to argue with the victims (who were shot) that have identified him as the shooter. So if I understand you, you mean the victims are lying? Why would his own people do that? There is far too much damning evidence. I can't stand the thought of judging anyone, especially when their life is on the line. I'm only saying the facts don't "add up" and I'm not going to point my finger at the victims. The only other thing I can think of is he's been set up.
Guilty people keep bringing up god to play on the emotions of others. All he’s saying is god this god that. He does come off as innocent to the untrained eye. I agree. Probably been manipulating his whole life
Interviewer racist and he keep trying to twist the interview and make it seem like franklin did the crime 🤦♂️. I hope u get out bro bro and sue the system. Free Franklin💯💯💯💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
What indication do you have that you would call him racist? Throwing that word around when you don't like a white person is the reason the word often times hold no weight.
@@nataliesalas9621 and he cant lie. He said so clearly. But the real proof of innocence is when he said he would be all tore up inside if he had killed people. That means he is innocent, rigjt out of the killers mouth
Are the guys behind the camera detectives or reporters???? Is this an interview or an interrogation??? Who the hell is his lawyer? This whole thing should have not went down.
This is a foolish young man attempt to get some PR time. I can only assume his lawyer tried to advise him to keep his mouth shut "they don't want me to talk about the case...", but this boy thinks he knows better.
I can tell he's lying. He also jumps moments in time when he tells his story. Then he talks of God like he is a religious person. He had some involvement in the crime.
Why tf is he so concerned with the Weedman & how much he bought?! I feel so bad for this kid man, I feel like he’s innocent. They just wanna lock another young black man up 😒
OHIO ONE there is more black young men incarcerated in the prison system than white people ! get your facts right aint nothing racist about the facts! white people get so mad when we complain about the system! WHITE PRIVILEGE REMEMBER THAT!!!
This is so sad .. they really tried to pressure him .. strong young man .. kid seems smart.. good luck . Keep staying strong, Pray you get your Justice.. God Bless you!
@@dantomko9222 I don't know what the interview was talking about I think he was smoking some of that crack in the crystal meth crap on himself cuz he was talking like he was trying to get a deal
His weed man could of had some serious beef in them streets and this young man name just got tied to him by him being the last contact at that particular time...he needs a good lawyer to step up and take over his case...something must give I believe he is innocent !

I like this guy.. the interviewer asked him, "Do you fear the devil?" He said, "naw, the devil dusted off my shoulders." He has so much strength and courage. I admire him.
@@BeingWokeTV agreed because he said he didn't shoot no one and not that he had anything to do with it. That's a straight answer question. This interview did more harm for him.
I know when someone is lying. He isn’t lying. I hope he doesn’t stay locked up in jail for the rest of his life just because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. This is so heartbreaking.
@Tony Snow You are very astute and I'm sorry about your cousin. Too much peer pressure, to much glorifying murder, that's what is ruining a whole generation of these kids.
Kid was smart didn’t tell on him self or let that white guy incriminate him because that’s exactly what that white guy tried to do he did that to another person in a interview
miguel Rodriguez the white guy just wanted him to explain his side of the story he never once asked him to admit to the murders also how would the white guy have anything to do with the kid’s decision to incriminate himself or not? Don’t bring race into it that’s bs
Like who kills the weed man ? 🙄🤦🏽♀️ The weed man hooks the neighborhood up to keep them coming back. These cops know better. 😒 (Competition) is real on the streets.
@@bigchungus7930 I'm not against him, I hope for his sake he didn't do it, the trouble is the victims (who are still alive) all say he did. I just wonder why you're so sure he didn't do it? I mean, you can't just say he didn't do it without facts, otherwise you're calling the witnesses liars.
“This bring me to tears” when you “yourself” knows the truth, It’s easy to explain yourself to anyone without remorse. But the God on the inside of him is fearless, with trust like that I pray God in heaven works this case out in the most miraculous way.
I can tell he's innocent. They're just looking for any black man to convict. I pray he gets a second chance. This is a sweet innocent young man. The reporter is truly a wastecase.
In Gods name you will be out, this has been going on for ages. Young black men being convicted of crimes they did not commit. The people sold weed and people come and go all day. I see this young man in the next few years being released and suing the state. His Faith is strong, the reporter trying to confuse him. Stay strong the truth will prevail.
