This is a super epic boss fight. I wish it was longer. They really need to make a 4th JnD where Gol and Maia come to the future and wreck havoc. AWESOME.
This in my opinion is one of the best PlayStation 2 platformers ever,This game still looks and plays great to this day.I applaud Naughty Dog for this game.
+Lord Shogo (Jin) Or he probably said thst cause he got his ass kicked XD. Still your probably right. Also I think it's as deep as the building. You can see how deep it is from the building before you get there.
I was always under the impression that the catacombs were there before any humans were on the planet. They were supposed to be passages the Precursors used to get all over the place.
Well, Light eco is used to cancel out dark eco as seen here, Alot is unknown about light eco even in jak 3 it's not fully explained the light eco was drawn out of jak in the 3rd game by the precursor idol (which i'm guessing you already know) Dark Jak was created by Praxis who pumped dark eco into jak so they could use him as a weapon to tear down the metal head nest (which is practically what happens) all in all light eco is just used to counter balance the dark eco.
They die in dark eco there is absolutely 0% chance they survive, and even if, they're locked so they are just widely drown since the time. And EVEN IF, they die by getting too old. Making them coming back would be absolutely not logical and would make no sense
@@BenjaminGoodmanOr maybe you hope that they will bring Jak & Daxter games back in Jak 6 instead because there’s still no sign of Gol and Maia coming out of this Dark Eco Silo.
I always thought an interesting plot to bring gol and maia back would be that from opening and draining the dark eco silos in Jak 2 to supply the metal heads, they accidently released gol and maia back into the world. They'd still be alive from being transformed by the dark eco, which they could use to their advantage since they're the sages of it and know the most about it, albeit probably being some disgusting creature from being drowned in it for centuries. Idk, Dark Makers in Jak 3 were also cool tho, can't complain Edit: And they'd be a scary antagonist for a game since the duo would have had centuries to plot their revenge against Jak, while he simply just time traveled.
The game series is my favourite of all time. 1st PS2 game and was left wondering what they found for about 7 ish years until I got Jak 2. Jak 2 was great as well, except Erol was a. It easy compared to the other final bosses. I mean I found this one insanely difficult to complete when I was like 4. But I still love each and everyone. Even Jak X, which being completely different it was still fun as fucks. It's a shame they don't make games like this anymore. No childhood platforming feels can never be re-created :c. Really saddening if you think about it
This boss battle is a little frustrating, it's mostly trial and error though, once you know how the attacks work it becomes easier. Those little exploding fire ring bombs still trip me up from time to time though. Great game, even if it is too short and too easy for the most part.
You wanna know something that could make this boss more awesome (not talking about in terms of concept and design or it's mechanics)? Imagine, alter the music with a different one (in this case I recommend) is with Swordland from Sword Art Online's OST. I recommend trying to pretend using the Swordland song over the one in the game.
I love the music to this fight. The only thing I don't like is when Samos says that they probably died. It would be cool if they made another jak and daxter that they would be in it.
imagine seeing jak bounce up in hd or if its supported in 3d. ( If nobody knows what im talking about the jak and daxter hd collection has been confirmed)
Lol this guy The Reviewist is something, like holy hot damn I love reading points arguments on the Internet, like all Brannylicious said was that they added in new gameplay styles and yes maybe take away some from Jak and Dakter 1 but sometimes that's nessacary, since I am going to be honest Jak and Daxter 1 as much as I love it is a bit clunky so why not do something fresh and new, and if you think about it, the first one is sort of like an experiment, see how it does in the world, and it did-
Lucy Luce I thought it was hard when I was a kid. I played it about like this guy when I got the HD collection. This boss battle is still one of my favorites by far, and I've played a lot of games.
well if you can create light eco from adding all the colored eco than if dark is the offensive it must have all or most of the agressive qualities of the 4 eco's yellow's enegy red's attacking power blue's speed and green's something while light has yellow's enegy to make a shield green's regen blue's speed for flight and time stop and red's something
Great! But it does get a bit repetitive after you get to the final boss, and the story was a little bland but that's ok it's an experiment, with the second one they did new things, only because maybe people wanted something new, it's sort of like white rice... If you eat it just as is for a month of course it is going to get boring after awhile, that's why you add in soy sauce, use it in jumbilia and then boom, something total different but still the same just some good for thought The Reviewist
well if i ranked the bosses i say this one is lot harder than errol seeing there almost the same but in three you have guns which makes it a heck of a lot easier with the upgrades but i have not fought kor yet so i'd say from what i saw from a video they seem equal gol 's robot and kor
Please tell me I'm not the only one who was massively disappointed you couldn't use White Eco outside of the final boss as a kid That shit looks more powerful than Dark Jak and Light Jak (Also I call it White Eco here for instead of Light Eco for difference sake because it looks way different than Light Eco in Jak 3)
