It’s a you tube set…….all BS….they are abandoning it now and off to the next idea…….they have made a lot of money in the last two years…kudos for that. Curious as to where they set up the next idea….I’m betting somewhere tropical after 2 years up in that rainy god forsaken northern Vancouver island area
@@cmelfe5888 they are off to a different adventure location. That is a gross rainy boringly remote spot. They are young hip pro RU-vidrs. I’m a few weeks they will pop up with a new baby, likely in some sweet warm location and craft another story. I admire their creativity but not their authenticity.
It is a show that relies on sexual content to entice viewers. Their video clips entice with views ALWAYS of her body. It is really disgusting. I have no idea why nobody else has noticed it.
Oh I have! Jokes aside, I don't think it's good form to basically sell sex like this, but, freewill eh! Shows its probably more of a business than they might let on.
That is the problem with almost 90% of off grid videos they are fake people using sexuality to get viewers I know of one that claimed to be off grid yes no power no water but father but 600 m away the family house had water and power the hardware store was 4 km away in town And 90% of the things done there were done by other people not the individual claiming they did it themselves so yes this is just a way to make a living by bullshitting people I'll shoot in people that you're something you are not.
I think every man on earth has had that built in pioneer spirt. It's just a matter of how much you're willing to sacrifice and being healthy enough. I became cripple, so watching Jakes videos is the next best thing. I thank both Jake and Nicolle. Well done
I'm sorry,, living off the grid?? how is making that much money by exploiting the grid with RU-vid and others called living off the grid? That''s having your cake and eating it too. Now they move on to their island property bought and paid for by people who believe these two are living such a rough life off the grid, but not telling the full truth, how it took lots of study before hand, work, planing and preparing before they took that step. I'm not saying they don't earn their money I like watching all the wondrous things they do myself, but lets be honest when you're making that much money you're not all that insecure about anything going wrong, you can pull out anytime and retire. They use bush planes gas powered boats and what type of transportation do they use flying to and from there new island home? My hats off to them for their business sense, they are very smart business people, they make web entertainment content that's more or less nothing more the a reality show and they have been successful. Only lets be honest, they're not living off the grid.
Let's be honest, you obviously don't understand that living off grid in no way means you can't have another way of generating electricity, or that you have to be poor, or you have to be worried about a crisis, or dudnt STUDY and prepare and plan before hand, blah blah blah. ALLLL living off grid means to claim such .... is that your PROPERTY is not connected or hooked up to the public utilities grid, or you do not use and if the utilities connected from the grid. Your neighbor can have all public utilities... but if you only use electricity from solar panels you installed, and collect rain water or well water and don't have or use the public plumbing for sewage, ect... you are living off the grid. Period. You can have a freaking mansion and 75 properties and have them all lit of like the 4th of July 24/7 but if it's not from the grid (public utilities)..... its "off the grid".
I think he’s avoiding the fact that they make a lot of money off of sponsors, and an Onlyfans that Nicole has where they do NSFW content. I’m not sure if it’s full nude or pornographic in nature, but the bio makes it sound as such. I started watching their videos a few days ago and then noticed that in the description today, and have stopped watching because I think that they portray their lifestyle dishonestly. Not that an only fans on its own is a horrible thing. I don’t think it’s something to be proud of, but they don’t really reveal that it’s something they do use for income. Maybe it’s most of their income who knows…..
@@zarekodynski9077 it’s pornography and most of uscdid not believe the rumors until we found out otherwise. It was in a free webpage, wasn’t even the only fans thing😑
You need to work on your math please. 1,000 per day is $30,000 per month not over $100,000 as you said, and not over $700,000 per year as you said. So some of the numbers are wrong somewhere!
He needs math classes. $1000/day doesn’t add up to $125k and if annualized doesn’t add up to $700k. He was wrong at least twice if someone thought it was a typo. Also, he doesn’t explain where he got his numbers from. Just conjured up from thin air
The Northern Island around Port Hardy is basically nasty most of the year and takes a ton of work to maintain. Jake's knowledge base and inspiration are extensive but are practiced and manifested through deep pockets and Amazon. If the Pizza oven and the gadgetry they have were removed from the equation and their life was really dependent on his skill and available resources their off-grid lifestyle videos would be a lot different. He has made a good living here but I wonder if there would be as many views and followers if he was alone. To me, Dick Proenneke was off-grid with a backpack these guys are doing it with an Airstream. Oh, their new tropical off-grid looks like they are filming at a Resort... off the 9 hole where the groundskeeper still mows the lawn...
They don't even show anything since they had the kid. Just a pic if Jake holding the kid staring out at the water. I've been over it for sometime now. He has money too buy whatever whoever whenever.
I must have missed something, you said they make about $1,000 a day from their RU-vid channel, and then said which adds up to about $125,244 per month and $730,717 annually??? I don't know what school you went to but $1,000 per day does not add up to $125,244 per month and that does not add up to $730,717 annually??? So, what am I missing???
No idea! 30,000 a month is 360,000 a year and even when they get this now, when they started 3 years they didn’t make that numbers. Might be earning them their living after the 1st year and after their income was blown up, they could start another off grid project in a warmer less rainy and stormy environment. Believe it or not, I was wondering how much money they had to invest into their property on Vancouver island, this is nothing you start out of nowhere…
@@coling88 I think that’s just spelled wrong! “Hummus” is made from chickpea and you can dip your bread or tortilla in it. “Humus” is that part of the ground which is rich in nutrients to grow your plants in.
And? So are a lot of people. My husband and best friend. You roll your eyes and move on because they have other great qualities. Dude, YOU are probably a control freak. Just saying, only other control freaks get super annoyed by other control freaks.😄 😂😄 😂😂😂😂
Not sure how I came across their stuff but I really enjoyed their one video where they put all the videos together in one long video to show how they built their yurt. When it was done I went to look at their other stuff and noticed that their first videos didn't get much views until they started putting Nicole like naked on the thumbnails..... weird.... lol. I do find them inspirational. One other thing I noticed, correct me if I am wrong... They were living off the grid in a rain forest?? But I saw a really nice house in a few of the videos, quickly in a few clips. Spending the day in the tent and gardening then sleeping in a house with normal accommodations isn't living "off the grid" but maybe I missed something.
What you say is interesting, but why all the video of Not Jake and Not Nicole? Did you think we needed internet sourced illustrations to watch while you talked? Well, I'm leaving early, which does your algorithm no good.
I didnt understand.... Can you please explain futher... He us married to nicole while buiding pacific yurt... Isnt what you are saying or he is married to someother?
I used to watch his "Vegan Athlete" RU-vid when he was living in Arizona and married to Pam. He divorced Pam to go gallivanting around the world with Nicolle. Don't pay much attention to him, or his life, anymore. Actually, don't know why I bothered to spend even the 2 minutes to watch part of this. Going on to something else now.
If they're not depending on mainstream access to - shelter (if built their own shelter)- water - electricity and food - yes it's technically labeled "Living Off The Grid" - but it's a huge difference - night and day difference when a person doesn't have the options to not live in that manner verses choosing to. Jake and Nicole don't have the insecurities of wondering how they'll need contact with civilization - no worries about going without a phone - no worries if they got in a crisis jam where there's no one to make contact with the outside world - no worries about going without transportation - food - no worries about going without modern health care etc.... Basically they designed a way they want to live being covered by finances from sponsors - RU-vid income - the only fans page of adult content. He uses her body as a thumbnail for click bait to draw in viewers. It's like being on a full time camping adventure while others pay for it. They both share their knowledge and journey and get paid for it. In today's world - it's all about followers - people are looking to idolize someone or be idolized. However the positive side is - it keeps revenue moving - when money is spent - creates more jobs and more mouths are fed. He is very resourceful and intelligent - I'd definitely assume if the economy completely crashed - if there was nothing modern available - if this wasn't a choice to live this way both love - he'd be resourceful enough they could survive. It's a win win for them - because he loves the lifestyle - she does too - they'd be very prepared ahead - as already greatly interested in living off the grid - the next level would just be removing the choices off the table of not having any access to anything from modern civilization. As long as those two aren't harming each other or their child - if they're not harming anyone else - if they're contributing something good to society - all is well. As for the onlyfans aspect - it doesn't align with my morals - but it is what it is - some things in life I'm not in favor of but that goes for everyone - the things I learned at my older age is has learned to accept it - it's out of my control - therefore it's not worth my peace and health to let it consume me, another aspect, the whole world doesn't revolve around me - it's not suppose to be tailored made for me - that would be my insecure fragile ego talking if believed it should be - we learn in life thru experience - maturing and aging we're all individuals - we're each on our own unique journey of growth- what suits one individual may not another - live and let live for each individual to live their journey - control/wanting to control another person is birthed out of fear - if only they did XYZ than my life wouldn't feel so unsafe - yes sometimes we're called to try and control something when it comes to a direct threat to our lives or another's or a vital decision but other than that we're to stay in our lane. I don't dislike Jake or Nicole due to that choice - I can still like a person and not like some things they partake in depending on what it is. Naturally if they were set out intentionally to harm someone - I'd definitely feel completely different about them. Anyways.... It's just my opinion - everyone has their own and right to feel however they want. I wish Jake and Nicole the best.
I believe that Jake also was the owner of another company at one time that had tiered planters to grow a garden in a small space, and last time I looked, you could still order these online.
Excuse my numbers skills but you claim that they earn $1000 p\day. You tell us that their monthly income equals $125244. Do they have other revenue streams to add an additional $3174 p\day?
I do enjoy a good comedy. I googled for gardening RU-vid films to watch and Jake and Nicole were one of the suggestions the algorithm threw up. I watched the one when they were in the Himalayas. It was interesting to see the place and they seemed an attractive couple. So I watched more and as I did I found Jake strangely creepy and there was something about Nicole...something compelling, more than her beauty, she is beautiful, but there was a hint of the carnivorous in her smile. I'm using that word,it's the closest I can think of to the impression I got of something.....it was much later that I started to hear the onlyfans rumours but it explained all those titillating thumbnails. I do give credit to Jake that he is a skilled gardener and does love gardening (as well as other activities, lol) but I never bought their "off grid" right from the start and they were always going to the nearest town in their boat and buying stuff, that's not simple off grid living - and they weren't so isolated as they made out. There was a village not far away with proper houses and so close a little girl walked over to visit one day and play in the garden, hardly the wilderness they claimed. Anyway Jake totally trashed the place,it looked a total mess by the end and now they've gone to live on some Pacific island. I've heard it's on Hawaii but the local laws don't let Jake trash that with his chain saw. As a fake comedy channel it's quite fun to watch. A lot of us were hoping they'd get eaten by a bear.
as strange as your review of their channel may sound, the more i look back on the 5-6 episodes ive watched of the jake and nicole "pony show" lol jake does seem like a bit of a space cadet, something seems non-organic about the way he approaches things/his knowledge of certain e=. nicole seems fine, maybe just a little "extra" but overall a good soul.
Your math of $1000 a day income ironing out to $125.244 a month? ....doesnt compute. But off grid??? And technology based daily isn't the true "off grid" lifestyle. I admire and respect the incorporation of the tech to support their lifestyle, but its definately an altered "off grid" lifestyle at best.
Jake is an opportunist who is selling videos ( onlyfans) worldwide. What kind of a guy does this??? Is Nicole able to leave him if she wants. Or is she held captive? Does her Mom know what has happened to her so far away from home?
@@robertaxford7527 professional RU-vidrs that make a ton of money…..abandoning this godforsaken rainy norther Vancouver island spot. I bet they head for the tropics next.
@@BKinWhiteRockhmmmm, so a year later from your comment... they still live on the property. And Yes. They have other properties too. So? They sound the bulk of the time in the Canadian rain forest property. Guess what, they sometimes live on their boat too so they can travel from one property to the other. Who cares.
This kind of cynicism makes me sad as personally I find Jake & Nicole inspirational and obviously it helps if you are considering doing something similar yourself. It is a rich game becoming green for sure but so appealing to get out the rat race and I cannot find any fault if they want to share this journey on youtub and get paid for it, why not. Who knows where you have sourced their supposed net worth, your math's is way out on youtub income streams.
@@carolcunningham5899 wtf you aren’t even trolling. I just looked it up for myself, the videos are EVERYWHERE. So easy to find. I’m disappointed, I found them a few days ago and thought they were awesome. I don’t trust my judgement now. 🤔 so weird ..
This video is pure propaganda/promotion. How does $1,000 a day in YT income turn into $125,000 a month, or $730,000 per year? Where did they get their money to afford all the tools and transport fees and materials used to build their homestead? Jake is surely a most talented guy in so many ways; it would have been interesting to learn his background other than simply being inspired by living in a yurt, in this video. But we never do. I think Jake believes that just because the land they built on had been logged 40 years earlier, he (and Nicolle) don't have to live 'lightly upon the Earth.' They are no less rapacious of the landscape than the tens of thousands of other pioneers that came before. One of the benefits of community living is shared resources. Not much of that goin' on here. . . Everything is me, me, me. I admire their courage, imagination and fearlessness. I'm happy they've found a way (Internet) to share what they've learned with the world. But, so far, all they teach us is that if you can be as resourceful and educated as they are, then the way to be fulfilled is to get away -- far away -- as possible from other people.
This is one big commercial. Jake and Nicolle's story, traveling to many countries to explore different cultures, only is possible if you have lots, lots of money🤑 If at 21 Jake was already traveling tells me he comes from money. Sure, they may love living this way, but when your're on your laptop, you aren't really off grid, are you? Well, I didn't see any solar panels...and I'm sure they would have been advertised. And only took 3 days to put up the yurt??? I watched that video, it was alot longer than that. Just another couple that figured out how to make money off the internet. But it's a simple lifestyle...☺️☺️☺️☺️
@@katelord6106uh, yes. They have a LOT of solar panels. Their videos talk about the solar panels all the time. Shows them talk about the favorite ones, the best ones, shows them install them and maintain them. So yes, you CAN be on a computer and even be on the internet and still have your property be off grid.
@@katelord6106 no, it took way more than three days for them to put up the yurt. This stupid video is a bunch of lies. The real channel showed them doing all the little time consuming steps for months building that thing.
Who does your math for you because you are so far off it's ridiculous. How can somebody earn $ 1000.00 daily and have that turn into 125,000.00 monthly. My thoughts say it adds up to 30,000.00 monthly, but hey your only off by about 95,000.00, not bad for a mathematician. Go back to school.
The mathematical model knows more about the "money matters" channel than anyone watching it does. $1,000/ day somehow equals $125,000/month somehow equals $720,000/year........hmmmmm........I call bullshit on this whole video and on the whole "money matters" channel..........LOL..........
