He didn't make it to the Majors until age 24 (which I won't fully hold against him, drafted in 2007 and debuted in 2010), but with the Orioles, his ERA was 5.46 [with an increase every season] and WHIP was 1.472. It wasn't until he reached the Cubs that he began to get something going - perhaps a change in mechanics, a new pitch, change of scenery, who knows what it was? Baseball is just a crapshoot, so nobody could have seen this coming three years ago. He's going into his age 30 season, so let's see just how long he remains dominant.
