That's how so many good players don't make it to the MLB, they are good defense or good sluggers or good fielders but since they have good arms the bosses give them pitching positions just for ending up injured or burn out and...game over.

MyREDTAIL just watched Brooks Robinson highlights. Both outstanding fielders. Manny definitely has a better arm. Brooks was a better ambassador. Manny needs to become a better sport. I love to see him field and it is disappointing to see some of his actions on offense.

walter yanez as a neutral, I checked out Simmons after you mentioned him.. Manny clearly has a better and stronger throw as not one throw hit the dirt, were as I saw multiple throws from Simmons hitting dirt and not traveling the sheer speed that manny throws.. As the commentator said, manny has the strongest arm in the game.

What about the defensive plays he makes while he’s on offense? Like kicking a guys heel while crossing first? Or sliding into a guys heel on second? Or grabbing at them as your sliding? Like they (manny) say, the best defense is hurting people while your on offense!
