I know this is a year ago but just curious what does it mean when your Jake brake only works in the parking lot???

Where y'all located? My ECU died and had it replaced. Now my jakes won't work but my cruise control works. I've had a different mechanic reprogram the ECU, replace the brake control and now the turbo. What could be the problem? It's killing me I've spent almost 10k and I'm still stuck

Do you know what would cause a d13 to spit when on the jakes?

If you think that nobody would leave something like that without fixing it, think again, this days, most of mechanics are only after everyone's money.

Can someone explain to me do each cylinders have there own jakes ....i dont have good jakes on my volvo engine and i was wandering can you install more jakes onto a engine

Would this also work on a 2013 Mack? My oil temp Guage doesn't work. And my engine break has been non existent.

Hey man my truck is a 2012. It was running fine with check engine on. I went on vacation for a week and when I try to start it the lights would come on, but it won’t crank at all. I have freighter cascadia 2017. No engine brake, But when I set cruise control green engine light turn on only when set the cruise. So on the mounting I gotta use the cruise to be able to use it! Any idea any one ? Thanks
