Jacob Cronenworths hit in the 7th inning on October 15th 2022 will never be forgotten in San Diego. Thanks for another banger, nice to see a rare Croney interview! PS the DM story classic haha!
That was so clutch, he was down to 2 strikes, I was elated when he got that hit off vesia, I got the ut page framed and hanging in my living room, DRAGON SLAYERS ,
@@rocketdog2723 nice, that is such an iconic photo for all us Padres fans! Just thinking about that 7th inning gives me chills. I will never forget Hader recording the second out in the ninth and running out of our building down to Petco and standing right outside the gate for the final out. What a night and what a feeling, hoping for more of that this coming October! #competeforpete 🤎💛🧡
As a Padres fan I always felt like Hoz got kind of a raw deal from the fanbase (he got the bag so I'm sure he's fine), he may have underperformed at times but also had some great moments and who knows if we ever sign Manny or the future trajectory of this team without Hosmer signing in 2018. Didn't really sit well with me how he was treated by the fanbase toward the end of his tenure, but it is what it is when it comes to sports. He seems to have found something with the podcast, and I'll say from at least this one Padres fan I'm happy for him, we're all just people dude.
Hoz is a great guy no doubt. But getting paid the amount he was for the results he put up, this is a business. You can’t be paying someone over feelings. You’re paying someone to perform.
@@donaldpump3072 you're a great monday morning quarterback, without a doubt! :) if you place any bets on the 2023 World Series please use our partner FanDuel with code DIGGIN
That was great!! He's just like I'd hoped he'd be ... smart, reflective, and a foodie! Who knew ... love how you call him Jacob, all of you, Great Job! Go Pads ⚾️⚾️
my uncle was a DIE HARD padres fan for as long as i can remember, and when Jake first showed up he told me and my dad that he KNEW he'd be a long term staple for the team. he passed away a couple years ago, but every time i see jake out on the field i get a little emotional thinking about my uncle and just how right he was. win or lose, i love this team 💛💛
@@DigginDeepPodcast Don & mud, Trevor, peavy, Khalil Greene, Savannah bananas, Rickie Henderson, or some random padre fan 🤷🏻♀️ (Definitely not a biased list)
I think Jake seems like a great humble yet confident guy. I’m a huge fan of him as a Padres player. His hit against the Dodgers in the 2022 playoffs to win the game and the series will always go down for me as one of the biggest Padres playoff moments ever. I rewatch it all the time. Thanks Jake for that moment and looking forward to future moments.
My favorite Padre!! So so dope seeing that he’s just as down to earth as he comes off as! That’s why he’s my favorite, and he just has fun out there! PS I refer to him as my bestie 😅
A lot people counted Jake out. But to see him come back with a vengeance this year makes me think he’ll be a star contributor for a long time to come Best of luck Jakey; success is becoming a legend in San Diego which I know you can do
Great podcast, I appreciate you guys breaking down everything, very knowledgeable how to beat different things in the system , Tell Moose I said Hi , from the Pagalidis Family! Keep Killing It Guys! 💯
Ask Jake about him volunteering to be our emergency catcher.😂 Good to see you guys on your own podcast. The backbone of the 2015 WS Champion KC Royals.
Pretty sure by design you won't see that published. He is very grounded, but these poor guys need a private life, If he gives the list for every city he won't ever get a quiet meal on the road.
Lifetime Padre fan! I love Jake, but I always liked Hosmer too! My son rocked the Hosmer jersey for a couple years and loved his involvement in the Slam Diego era!
Please do Jackson Merrill he has deserved it. Let alone he will benefit from learning from veteran players. Plus I’d like to see what any rookie goes through. Game in and out.
Hopefully Hosmer gets permission from these guys before he puts their personal life out there to the world. If not and he's doing it for "spicy" content for the podcast that's as low as you can get.
