No.. different understanding gives you different swings. Due to you being the one needing to feel the correct pressures, when your understanding opens up, your swing transforms.
@AB-nv7bz
@AB-nv7bz 6 месяцев назад
@eborn So Jon Rahm's tight hips are due to his understanding? And this guy and Phil's incredible flexibility are due to their understanding? Some people are naturally more flexible or stronger. That's going to dictate how you swing. Just look at tiger woods swing over the years. He got less flexible and put on more muscle(for vanity reasons sadly as it didn't help his game), and had to change his swing.
@ToraxReborn
@ToraxReborn 6 месяцев назад
@AB-nv7bz hahahhaa.. all the touring professionals have their swings sculptured after years of learning and training. If they knew what you know of, they probably have a different swing. As an ex touring player myself, we work on our limitations, we don't really care much about what we're good at since it always has been like that. However, if we find something new that can help us in a big way, we will always pursue it and try to achieve it. What you are doing is analyzing their swings after the product was made. The importance is to learn the process.

Ya know, I’m not sure with irons, being a professional long driver, I try to stay away from doing any iron videos… don’t feel qualified lol But I would guess it’s similar timing. I do know, everyone sets it at different times, so what’s important is finding what works best for you and your swing

What does "a strong grip" mean?

Good question, put simply, the more the back of your lead hand points to the sky and/or the more your trail hand palm points to the sky, the stronger your grip is.
@DanielLouzonis
@DanielLouzonis 2 месяца назад
What does “use the ground” mean?
@longdrivebryce
@longdrivebryce 2 месяца назад
Great question. The ground is the most efficient source of speed in the golf swing. Imagine trying to drive a golf ball while standing on ice skates on ice, it’ll be difficult to swing fast and stable. Properly using the ground to derive energy from (starting with the back side load, then getting into the front side) can help distance and efficiency. I’ll add this to my list of topics to do a future video on!
@DeadlyKiss000

How do you get a tonne of speed from going into the ground? Anyone? I don't get it!
@longdrivebryce
@longdrivebryce 3 месяца назад
Imagine trying to hit a golf ball on ice. You’d slip in your downswing because you can use the ground for leverage. The better a golfer uses the ground, the more efficiently they’ll deliver the club

I hope that helps!

@DeadlyKiss000
@DeadlyKiss000 3 месяца назад
@@youMatterItDoesGetBetter Well I play off scratch and I think I do it but it's the last piece of the jigsaw for me. I think I achieve it by going to the top of my backswing and then I feel like someone is holding my hands there whilst I fire my hips and get that squat down position. Of course that starts to pull my hands down. That's as far as I have got with it but I don't think that that is the full picture. Not asking for any advice off you so don't worry. I'm quite happy with my swing and wouldn't really change it anyway. Just interested in what people had to say on the subject.

It leads to higher hands which he lowers in transition while he also lowers his upper body, sinking into the ground to use the ground for club speed. if Everyone will just pay attention to the high trail hip til the top…..trail hip then leads straight down allowing his lead hip to completely clear as he squats into his finish….While maintaining his Spine Angle ….I teach golf and I Cannot emphasize Enough on Keeping your Body in Top Shape…..if you Want a Great golf Swing it’s a Physical Move that Requires Strength and Stretching to the Max….that’s Why most people can’t understand ……because they’re in Terrible Shape…..their hips won’t move properly ….most Are completely Incapable of Anything remotely resembling a Proper Golf Swing…..actually ,I call it….LAZY🎤
