Marty’s voice has filled my ear canals since I was a lil boy. We got to see them live in our hometown of Clio, MI at our local amphitheater.. I have their autographed photo still and I’m almost 40 this year and I have y’all on every playlist I have. Sunday in the South, Moon over Georgia, Ghost in this house, The road not taken…. Some of my favorites
Jake Owen nailed it but in Shenandoah's prime nobody sings that song better. That should be the official song of the south. Such a beautiful song. Brings back memories
The difference between real country music and new country music . It's my humble opinion that in 30 years no one will even know who Jake Owen is . The music Shenandoah made and are still making is timeless .
Marty sings & I just fall down, he's pure God given talent! No strain to sing his beautiful songs! Don't know this other Dude straining to sing Marty's song at the intro, but he can't carry Marty's boots‼️‼️‼️
Thanks for posting! Heartfelt performance and gesture from one of today’s artists. Thanks for sharing your story Jake Owen, and especially for bringing onstage members from one of country’s greatest groups to share a classic! I was blessed on this rainy Sunday afternoon!
Morris Branch, that's not very nice. Think Jake did a damned fine job, and given his admiration of Shenandoah . If I was listening only and not watching I would have had difficulty knowing if that was Jake or Marty leading off....
His hit songs include 1. Yeehaw 2. Starting with me 3. Beachin 4. Don't think I can't love you 5. The one that got away 6. Barefoot blue jean night 7. Eight second ride 8. Back (With Colt Ford) 9. Life in a northern town (with Sugarland and Little Big Town) 10. Anywhere with you 11. Alone with you
