YES! At the time I was getting out of a very mentally abusive relationship as well, and I remember relating to her experiences. And I felt so bad when I saw how the situation got treated, it honestly triggered me so much. The way Shane framed it, genuinely made my stomach turn. A lot of people were slut shaming and victim shaming Alissa in the comments... Horrible, it was so badly handled my head hurt and because I was in a very similar situation as hers, it also made me feel bad about my experience. Fortunately I have a very good support system with my friends and family. I really hope Alissa has that too, cause I cannot imagine what it was for her going through that with an audience watching.

Jake Paul honestly seems like a kid who was never told "no" by his parents. But, at this point, he's too rich and powerful for anyone to rein him in, and too immature to take responsibility for his actions. At least even Tana puts out a half-assed apology every now and then for her past actions, even if it's totally disingenuous and scripted. Jake can't even seem to do that; he doesn't care about looking like the good guy because he's apparently content to play the villain for the first of his life. Is all that money really making him "happy", as the title of one vlog shows? 'Cos he doesn't look happy, from my perspective.

when shane started posting those “documentaries” on people who have been extremely racist, homophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, etc., should’ve been when people started noticing how problematic he was. i always thought it was concerning he was posting this content for millions to see and for people who were affected by all them. it was basically giving them an excuse to be disgusting. i can’t believe he tried to convince black people that there was an excuse for EVERYTHING and that they’re misunderstood. EDIT: also would like to add that it’s so disgusting that he made a documentary on eugenia (i really think she is sweet and too kind for shane) and got the money and dipped even though he has called her a skeleton and has inappropriate jokes about her before the documentary.
So true! I watched Shane's "redemption" documentaries when they came out and I wanted to believe in them sooo badly. Looking back I just feel stupid. Hindsight is 20-20
@@marinacroy1338 i felt so fooled and tricked by him as well. it's sad that we thought he was a good person - but when you think about it, him playing his convincing "all persons are good deep down, and i and the people in my documentaries are too"-card, says more about him than us. he's the manipulator, we only want to believe in humanity.

What Logan Paul did was absolutely horrendous but I think what set him apart from jake a lot was that he had one major (horrible terrible unforgivable imo) scandal where as Jake just constantly gave example after example of him being terrible
What's so funny is Shane spent so much time rehabbing the careers of people we wanted CANCELLED, thus making them avoid accountability. When it came time for him to be cancelled, those same people left him in the DUST. What karma 😂
Actually, I wonder if Shane built the careers of these people up so he wouldnt have to be the worst of the worst. If people spent energy and time being mad at the Jakes and the Tana's of the youtube world, the less time they have to dig into Shane's actions and motivations.

I never really truly hate someone but I HATED them both when I was younger. I still can’t stand jake at all, he’s the most annoying and egotistical person I’ve ever seen. But Logan used to be the same way and he changed A LOT recently. He seems a lot more genuine and real now. I don’t even really watch him but it’s hard to forget how they were when they were younger

I do feel like Jake never really wanted to put out the content he is putting out. Both he and Logan clearly wanted to become actors and singers instead of youtubers but both idiots ruined their shots by being idiots. The difference is that Logan realized that he lost his shot by his own fault and has completely accepted that he's not leaving RU-vid anytime soon so he's doing the most out of it but Jake keeps refusing to accept that he is nothing more than a youtuber, he keeps trying to be a boxer, a rapper and all that kind of stuff to prove he is not only a young and rich white boy with very little talent.

I feel like jake is going to end up in prison or piss off the wrong people, he’s tried to start a fight with Connor McGregor and failed miserably but it shows what could happen if he tried this on someone else who, just like McGregor, is not someone to piss off but actually succeed at getting a reaction but not being prepared for the reaction he wanted.
I feel like the Paul brothers' dad actually was an atrocious influence on them as they grew up though. Any time he shows up in either of their videos he has such a punchable demeanor... he comes off as way worse than either of the brothers.
