Detroits own Jake Reichbart. This guy is the real deal. I see him in clubs around town. We are lucky to have guys like him here. We have alot of hidden treasure here in Detroit. It's too bad we get such negative national press. We do have many great musicians who arent famous but are every bit as good as any where in the world. Love ya Detroit.

Just lost Chuck Loeb .. Just found Jake Reichbart!! And all is well. Creativity is one of those eternal things! I mean, can you just IMAGINE what living on this earth would be like, if everyone was free release their positive creativity? It's nearly heaven, just to imagine!! ... Jeff, are truly amazing. This little improv blows away 90% of what you hear on the smooth jazz stations. Like your chord melody solos you play solid themes, keep me interested in the song , and thro in some surprises without showboating. I do hope you start touring and recording more. Would love to see you live. And it's great to hear you on that 175, my fav jazz box.

Thanks! The lesson is available as a DVD. It is about 4.2GB in size for which you'd need an FTP server which I'm not set up for. However, S&H is quite inexpensive and fast so please consider mail.

Regarding the backing track, I am less technical than you'd think so it might take a some time... However, do a search on "Fender Aficionado", you should be able to find this, and many other tracks. OMG!!! This guy is sick!. Ok, that's it! I'm changing my career immediately! If takes a few more lifetimes, I will re-commit to learning the guitar - my first love . . . SO DEEP, SO INSPIRING!! Congrats, Jake, on your musical level. I think everyone has to fulfil certain expectations in life, and it's evident you've done that in your music. That's not to say you've reached your ceiling; I'm sure your music will keep on maturing as your life does, like good wines, but you have an excellent taste and musicality that not many people have. Wow, Thats Great because Larry Carlton is also my favorite guitar players from the 80's! I'm realy intersted in the 80's music, like Larry, Steely dan, Jay graydon, David benoit, Lee ritenhour etc. and i love too hear the easy listening music (Smooth, Jazz but also Fusion Rock!) and that's a real honor that you played with Thijs Van Leer!! he's also a very good musician. More like this. Bust that 175 out more often. Kick an overdrive on. If not to satisfy those of us who like to see a sophisticated jam, but also to steer people toward your solo guitar videos. Think of fit like a "lost leader" in a grocery store. They sell items, like bananas at a loss to get you in the store to buy other items. Time tested strategy my friend.
