Two of the Greatest Speakers in the History of Professional Wrestling-Dusty Rhodes & Jake "The Snake" Roberts. What a wonderful tribute. Best one I've seen. RIP Dusty Rhodes.
Beautiful video and beautiful memories of the American Dream. I was once on a flight from Roanoke, VA to Tampa, Florida With him. True to the kind of man and wrestler, he was he Signed autographs and visited with fans the whole time . It was A lunch flight and he never got to eat because he was taking Care of business with his fans! RIP Dusty you are sorely missed.
RocaDeearCenjar I read about it a few days later. Left me speechless, walked around thinking about it over and over again for two days. What a shock. And now, well... if something happens to Jake and Flair I can honestly say that I lost all of my wrestling heroes. Man, they can already hold a great pay-per-view upstairs by now..
I never heard anyone say anything bad about the MAN/HUMAN BEING, behind Dusty Rhodes, that's what I respect most about him. He was always willing to help someone, even it if meant telling them "Hey, maybe that's not the best idea." or "What if you tried it like this..." RIP Dusty.
I lost my father a month ago, and I just noticed that he and Dusty were the same age......2 people who influenced my life are gone..... as we get older, we lose more than we are given; things are taken away more than we acquire.... and losing loved ones and heroes are included
Without The American Dream There would be no Jake "The Snake" Roberts, no WWE, No WCW or Professional Wrestling Dusty Rhodes made his mark in the WWE now his sons continue that Legacy of The Late Great American Dream Dusty Rhodes as he would say Happy Trails Till we meet again!
THANK YOU--------So much "SNAKE"--You are a class act for doing this vid. May you be BLESSED for doing it!!! My respect to you for doing it--WE ALL WILL MISS HIM FOR WHATEVER TIME WE HAVE LEFT HERE ON "CREATORS" GREEN EARTH!!!!
Dusty is and forever be my favorite wrestler. One day I seen Dusty wearing a pair of cowboy boots on TV, and I asked my mom to buy me a pair. I wear those boots every where. In high school before wrestling practice, my wrestling team and I would do our version of the NWA. I was Dusty Rhodes. I ♥️ that men
Very nice that one of my favorite wrestlers ever Jake The Snake Roberts made a tribute to another one of my favorite wrestlers Dusty Rhodes.. Class act
Real men Do cry, lump throat tear eye. RIP DUSTY, gone but never forgotten, what a legacy and legend. very sad situation. Much respect God bless x. And well said Jake your looking great Snake keep it up man.
Diusty was a great worker and much better athlete than his physique would imply. He was also extremely gifted at delivering promos that were believable. Him and Flair were the perfect matchup of contrasting styles and characters. They made so much money together.
Jake is one of the many wrestlers that you can actually hear Dusty's influence on the stick. He knew how important that part of the package was to him then, he choose to learn from the best. Bravo Jake. I agree. Not too soon. Bless you man.
Jake thank you for your sincerity it shows in your voice and your face, ,Thanks for taking time to speak of a man I dearly love all 300 pretty pounds of him polka dots and all. Dusty was Dusty .He was never ashamed and he would be the first to proclaim .That he was the tower of power the man of the hour to sweet to be sour , Dusty was larger than live itself .He was indeed a one man show . Dusty was my ideal man a little Hoss Cartwright ,John Belushi, James Brown ,Mick Foley and Fluffy all in one . He was indeed my dream .And will always be no one comes close to my dream
My god, I love listening to Jake and Dusty on the mic. I don't understand why Dusty had to talk like a black guy to get over but it got people entertained. Jake is awesome with his darkness.
Anyone that got to See Dusty That was me J.S Dorton Arena Raleigh N.C The Man Loved Hot Dog's and could eat them. I had 9 He downed 14 I had to pay for all of them. Thank you Mr. Roberts for you Celebration of The American Dream's Life he lives in all of Us.
bless your heart dream, love ya so, so much...&, I'm happy for you, the hard part is over, & now your reward...Jake, if you can make the turn, I can do it too, inspiring...
Before Hogan, before the Rock, there was Dusty Rhodes. I can't think of one worker in the history of the business that could fire up a crowd with nothing but a microphone and a wink of a blue eye like The Dream. One of the greats of all time.RIP Dusty Rhodes
Dusty Rhodes and Superstar Billy Graham had one of the best rivalries ever. In real life they were best friends, and Dusty (Virgil) was godfather to Superstar's first child.
One thing I find a bit odd since Dusty's passing is, I have yet to come across a video on youtube with Dusty's good friend Magnum TA's thoughts on his passing. You would think He would of been one of the first to post a video up. Go figure.
