Jalan Kukoh Teochew Kueh always comes to mind at the first mention of Jalan Kukoh Food Centre. Run by the Loh siblings, the 3rd generation owners inherited the stall with over 50 years of history. Their recipe originated from their grandmother, who used to sell kueh in a market at Johor Bahru before the family settled in Singapore.
Every kueh is made by hand through a tedious process. Not only that, the fillings are well-packed with ingredients, keeping closely to the recipe passed down by the predecessors. It is no wonder that their tasty kueh always run low on stock due to high demand. To avoid disappointment, it's better to call in advance and place your orders at 9am.
5 types of kueh are offered - Chi Kak Kueh, Png Kueh, Koo Chai Kueh, Yam Kueh and Soon Kueh. Give all of these a try, and you'll know how good they taste!
