Now i know this is hard, but think back to those great Steeler/Raven defenses of the 2000's or Legion of Boom Era of Seatle. Can he get the ball to the other options, or create pass from the pocket successfully.

That's the beauty of the eagle offense the cause match up problems. Last year they didn't have hot reads the year before that they did and you see the outcome.

Goff took two different rebuilding franchises to conference championships and was statistically a top 5 QB both times. Finished top 5 in MVP votes the year he lead the Rams to a SB appearance and took the sorry Lions to their first conference championship since 1993 as well as a division title. He’s literally taking the Lions to the SB if we’re not for overly aggressive 4th down play calling and two terrible drops on crucial plays by Josh Reynolds. This Goff disrespect needs to stop family!

@@Kushone214 bros been to Superbowl in 3year window and almost won it only reason we did bad was coaching stop with the hate lol give our coaching staff to any team from last year and any team would fail.... eagles had 2 rookie coaches on play calling .... that's the reason for the down year not hurts even Maholm's would of failed on back to back to back screen passes... the plays were so stale all Jalen could do was run the ball.... people just look at stats but i watched every game and i can tell you that hurts was no the reason we were bad.... 2000yards in passing and 800 in rushing... these coaches did nothing to help our team last year nothing at all even when we were winning i was like this was not going to last long because the play calling was straight doo doo i want to see you week 11 this year and tell me hurts is bad... Dak is the worst overly hyped QB in the league the fact he's 3rd shows you how strong p[politics affect the game.

Yet he's disrespected by not even being on the top 5? Yet dak the stat hunter prescott is? Purdy when he took one of the most elite teams (much better than what hurts had) yet went the same distance as Hurts? Love top 5 in his 1st season? Really? Maybe you might have a secret obsession with hurts. Keep in mind, we're talking about a guy who to this day, had the best performance for a QB in the superbowl. How can a Qb be on a list for top NFC QBs when they can't even make the NFC championship? With elite teams nonetheless. Let alone the superbowl over 2 that have with similar if not worst teams? We need to stop ranking these rookies as top 5 anything until atleast their 2nd or 3rd season. 1 season, especially on a great young team (love & stroud) isn't enough to see what a QB is capable of. For all we know, Stroud & love could just have that rookie luck & the next season could take a huge step back. We've seen it constantly from QBs that had similar seasons.

Steve never broke 500 yards rushing, and he was always a top 3 passer. His running ability may have been the best we've ever seen, but it was always secondary to passing he used his legs to bolster his passing, Steve was essentially a more athletic Patrick Mahomes.

I will say he did have a down year last year but we also had terrible coaching on both sides of the ball. And it was his first year under a new coordinator again after doing if year after year all his life. I do think he need to be better at throwing the ball overall but please let’s be very clear it was not Hurts fault why we lost games last year.

@@freein2339 Well let's see. Dak's completion percentage and passer rating are both top 5 all time. His TD to INT ratio is 6th best all time. Despite missing more than a season's worth of games, the only active QB with more wins since he came into the league is Pat Mahomes. Seems like he's playing pretty well when compared to his peers.

Jared Goff had the #1 offensive line in the league and a great team around him, I’d say top 3 roster and he never hears this criticism that Brock does consistently. His lack of mobility has always been an issue in the playoffs. He had less touchdowns, more interceptions, a worse passer rating, and lost head to head to Purdy. Meanwhile Purdy’s OL was nowhere near as good as the Lions, and Purdy made plays with his legs to beat the Lions. Goff is a very good player, but he’s not the same threat in the playoffs as Stafford, Purdy, Hurts, and Love to me.

The biggest factor about Jalen Hurts that holds back is that he tends to lock in on Devonte smith and AJ brown and he’s other receivers and Tight ends are an afterthought. He dosent spread the football around as freely as the other Quarterbacks do . Yes do all the Quarterbacks on this have favorite Targets yes but they still spread the ball around despite that . And Jalen Hurts has a big problem with holding onto the football too long .

The QB position is mostly mental anyway (diagnosing defenses/finding weakness/processing things quickly/analytical ability). Hurts better than Dak? He wins in the playoffs? He beat Daniel jones and a 9er team with no QB to get to the Super Bowl. Every other playoff appearance was a first round exit.. dude lost 6 out of 7 games to close the season.. I think he’s good but sheesh he gets overrated. He has a STACKED offense and his numbers still aren’t as consistent as Dak. The only argument is he’s been to one championship and that’s it but so has a lot of ok QBs.

I really dont understand the idea that Jalen cant pass. He only had about 100 fewer passing yards than Stafford. He has one of the best deep balls in the game and elite accuracy. He has fewer pass TDs in part because he would bomb it down field into short yardage and then they would run it in. He doesnt have as much tape doing the traditional pocket passer thing because thats not what the Eagles asked him to do, although that might change this year. And to be fair he can grow in that area, but to act like he is a run first qb or not a good passer is insane.
