I am happy for all of the people who have appeared in some way to express their interest on these issues. I want to know this: When are these people going to address the structure of the leaguei that you have to leave college to play instead of the smallest change being made to access school while playing sports.
I'm a woman and I can relate to him I did have a dad but he never bothered to be there when I needed him the most I had to navigate through so many important things in my life that he missed out on because he wasn't man enough to be there he has grandkids he doesn't even know about ok that's enough of that.
They probably have the best stories. I loved watching this interview. Definitely my highlight of the day. You can really see the true friendship between these two.
Agreed man! I listen to Jalen & jacoby podcast and it would be awesome if Chris could come on there and hash it up. Or wherever, they need to talk and get it over with. They're brothers man!!
I met both these guys the same day at a Detroit Police Athletic League game when they were in college. Both hung out with me and took pics with me. I was 9 or 10 at the time and I still remember that. Just being from Detroit and feeling like I know them makes me sad regarding their current relationship. I truly hope they can squash whatever problems that have.
dang cant we all just get along like these good ole days.... C-Webb stop trippin and squash the beef. yall got paid & college and got caught so lets move on. why u still embarrassed bro??
I pray 🙏 one day that these brothers come back together again. They friendship go back to age 12 they are going to be 50 this year. Life is short. Bring the boyz back together again
Cwebb does commentary now and he is actually quite good especially alongside Dick Stockton... Jalen has a contagious smile and is unusually unbiased for an ESPN guy. Stop hatin...
It's clear that Chris is still broken up about that UNC game. In reality he has nothing to feel sorry for because Michigan and the rest of the Fab Five wouldn't have gotten to the finals without Chris. He carried most of the weight. But yeah the whole timeout thing clearly haunts him to this day and he'd rather just forget about it.
haha, i can give credit to these guys for my name.. my dad was heavy into the fab five and loved their swag, n i was born during the final four when they were playin, so they named me jalen
I miss that era in college basketball. Where you got to know a great team and its personalities. Now, the 24 hour media cycle AND social media have killed all of that. Imagine Twitter and Facebook existing during the time of the Fab 5. They would be loved, but even more hated at the same time. The mainstream media and basketball traditionalists hated them and their flash. Nothing made them more happy than to see Duke and North Carolina beat that Michigan team.
One question : why doesn't Rose get more heat for the '93 Final Four infamous Webber timeout game? Rose is seen in the video replay jogging up the sideline away from the play. He wanted no part in the final sequence. As their point guard he's supposed to go over to Webber and get the ball, bring it up court. He didn't do this. It forced Webber to bring it up and the rest is history. The 'timeout' play doesn't happen if Rose does his job. Rose just as much as fault as Webber. Rose choked too simply thru avoidance....
@@SparticusHun Wrong. Rose did the opposite of what he's supposed to do. As a point guard you're supposed to run over, make yourself visible to the rebounder and then TAKE the ball or at the very least ASK for the ball. Once the rebounder passes the ball, he runs to offensive zone and point guard dribbles the ball to offensive zone. Did you ever play? I did. High school and College. I was a point guard. This is not an opinion on who brings the ball up court. This is the way it is done. Rose choked too.
i used to go to jalen ross house in michigan its pretty nice though he or his daughter was never there for her birthday they were out at a eminem concert
so basically jalen reveals here that hes glad he never had a father , and then he says him and chris were late to the draft cause they were playing video games, which is obviously quite childish and irresponsible, and then finally he reveals that he was trying to befriend cwebb more cause he wanted to cash in on his big contract. i liked jalen as a player but he says some crazy things on tv.
just because they are laughing about it to each other doesnt mean you can say that they are just joking, jalen clearly revealed more here than he had to, maybe he wants to stir up controversy just for attention, and i guess thats the reason hes still on tv. but still he just comes off a little shady lol
Thegameblock ok but does that mean it has to be discussed so blatantly on a sports show? jalen was called into the discussion so we can hear about his time with cwebb on michigan and when they got in the nba, that shouldve been it, the rest of the show you can do with cwebb, he was obviously a better player than jalen
I'm confused! Jalen did a interview about 8 months ago on breakfast club(2015) saying he haven't talk to Chris that much or seen him in 10 years. And Chris don't want to squash the beef. But this video says 2007. They laughing, talking, and reminiscing like there was no beef between them. huh?
The Fab 5 was unfortunately labeled my the media as thug gangster cheaters. Partly because of their of revolutionary great fashion sense of untucked shirts, baggy shorts and black socks.. But in reality you'll never find a more classy talented group of freshman players who end their careers being such great role models and ambassadors to the sport of basketball.. I believe Michigan helped them age like a fine wine, even Ray Jackson and Jimmy King are class acts in their community... Truth is, the rest of America has accepted the FAB 5, for the great guys they become.. They deserve a Mural or some sort of public tribute at Chrysler Center..
It's been a long, long time since I've last seen J-Rose. What happened to him? Why'd he retire so quick? He was one of the best players that the Pacers have ever had
this interview just tells me these 2 need to hurry up and rekindle the flame.....good friends man....Chris stop letting the BS of that championship game u made...and u lying to the grand jury continue to eat u up and stress u out....hola at ur homie man....he's waiting with open arms..and trust me...u will feel 100 times better after u do
