Jam Project Omoide wa Okkusenman On Drums! 

the song is originally a BGM from Megaman series, then someone in Japan wrote a song based on that BGM and uploaded it onto Nico-Nico Douga (Japan's youtube)... it goes viral in Japan, then JAM Project took notice of it and made a cover off of it.

It's really hard listening to Wily Castle 1 without hearing this song's lyrics once you've heard it enough.

This song calls back to a better time of the internet, its lyrics calls back to a better time of one's life, the time we've been through. A Fading Memory, if you may.

fun fact the lyric "Ultraman Ultraman Seven" is referring to an old Tokusatsu Series called "Ultraman Original Series" and "Ultraseven Series" SHUWATCH!

It may be a Japanese meme song, but the lyrics are beautiful, it tells you that the memories of your youth are eternal.

When I first heard of this as a kid, I thought it was catchy as with most Megaman songs but when I looked up what the lyrics meant, I got all sad.

I love how you covered this one as it is one of my favourite songs. I personally prefer the original out-of-tone singing compared to the JAM Project one since the former has more heart while the latter(this version) has hyped the levels of energy to such a degree that I feel that the original meaning of the song is lost. Knowing the context of the song also helps and the energy given by JAM Project makes the song have a sort of lyrical dissonance. For context, the song is about a middle-aged working man in Japan who reminisces about his past and wonders where all of his friends from his younger days are all are, as well as his thoughts about his current life, and how he views the halcyon days of his childhood. I honestly think that the original video would make more sense than explaining it verbally since it's where some of the lyrics such as "Ultraman Seven!" and "Okkusenman!" make more sense -- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Dz4giR9Ru10.html. Admittedly, I hate listening to this song(either version of it) since it makes me reminisce myself and I end up pining for the more peaceful days of my childhood.
