JAM w/ Casiotone MT-100 & Novation Circuit

I'm putting together a live-set & EP and wanted to share the beginnings of one of the songs from that!
Guitar line is my Mustang into a DS-1 style patch on the Source Audio LA Lady and the Lo-Fi Junky patch on my MS-70CDR.
Casiotone MT-100 is being fed into the Digitech Turbo Flange, the Champion Leccy Evil Twin, and the EQD Space Spiral.
Circuit is doing Circuit things with some reverb on the snaps and delay on the two synth lines.
RC-202 is receiving guitar and the Casiotone; the guitar line was pre-looped to save time in this vid. Casiotone parts are all looped live.

I love that!! Thanks so so much. I'm loving this setup and I've felt more creatively open and engaged than I had in months since getting this Casio. Expect to see more of it around here (and over on Instagram =D).

This is interesting! What do you mean by hated the sound but also think it's great? Not upset/mad/criticizing, I'm just curious what you didn't enjoy sound-wise. This is a new workflow for me so I wanna work out as many kinks as possible and good honest notes are always welcome

For sure man! And I didn’t mean my comment as a hateful one either, I genuinely am a big fan of your vids. It’s just the weird oscillating bass sound you add in the beginning sounds so gross to me, but then with the added layers you somehow made everything come together! Just impressed at how your turned that around, at least for me haha

@@skitterskatter9319 No noo no not hateful, useful =) Someone on Instagram actually pointed out that the synths sound out of tune and YEP they totally were (the Casiotone specifically) so I think that made that opening bass part even grosser hahahaha I don't mind the detuned feel since it makes it more ~lo-fi~ but I did tune the Casio since here. I love trying to make those gross sounds really work and I'm happy it was successful to your ears
