Please don’t let the government of Jamaica know this location…. Or else they will come and take it over….. and give it to private companies to make money.
@@Gro-485 I think you’ve missed the point., knowing the place and seeing how the young people are doing positive things., that’s when they step in and take over., because they see the potential of doing the same things so they destroy what the young people built etc….
Many people in Jamaica have been longing to repatriate to Africa but moving to Africa is not a necessity. We as Africana can live anywhere in the world and still live like Africans. The World is a Global Village. Let us become strong and positive Africans anywhere we are in the world. Let our African influence be felt all over the world.❤❤❤
As a Jamaican, I want to say that we use the WODDEN MORTAR in Jamaica as well, Our parents, grandparents and great grandparents use the MORTAR to pound the Cassava for making Bammie, for pounding black pepper seeds into - black pepper, for pounding Coffee Beans into Coffee powder. I just want to confirm that we do have this MORTAR TOOL in different parts of JAMAICA which is commonly used by older Jamaicans (especially, in the rural parts of Jamaica) We have been using this for hundreds of years since our African Jamaican ancestors have existed in Jamaica and have passed down this practice for generations to make and use WODDEN MORTAR to pound food into powdered form. When I was growing up in Jamaica, The older Jamaicans such as my parents, grandparents and great grandparents also use to have YAABBA BOWLS and the Calabash bowls and Vases 🇯🇲 🇨🇦
Jamaicans anybody from the Caribbean are direct descendants of Africa. It doesn't surprise me how well Africans and Jamaicans cook similar foods. Fufu is nothing more than a cassava flour that is a little softer than dumpling dumpling or dents flour dough Brent and they're really good it actually sometimes taste like meat in the stew. You don't even need me when you eat dumpling from Jamaica
I love this video it ain't nothing but a party and a feast I'm 79 years old and I'm enjoying the whole video with everything and laughing too❤❤😂 love peace and soul have fun
WadeMaya cannot say he ate anything gross in Jamaica. Jamaica is the only island where people don't eat animals that are scavengers and called it delicacy.
I love this look Colaz, who would tell us that in the future of history that one day our ancestors would see their slave babies come together and celebrate togetherness with our brothers and sisters from Kenya 🇰🇪, Guyana, 🇬🇾 in the mids of Jamaicans 🇯🇲. God almighty whom is of the earth and of the universe is smiling because we are one sharing one togetherness.

Green plantain, banana or Cassava can be used for cooking dumpings. I grew eating it from my grandma in Jamaica. I remember the Yoba pot otherwise called three foot pot over 50 years ago. As a child I was fascinated by it. My grandma used a few African words such as; quashie, duckoono, quacoo, howdie and himba which is a wild yam. There were lots of words that I don't hear anymore in Jamaica ❤
Poto poto : In Jamaica when we say something look poto-poto it's exactly how Wode Maya explained it. Which is crazy heart warming to me ... We Jamaicans and our African influenced tongue ❤️🇯🇲🇯🇲❤️🇰🇪 🇧🇴
