Great topics. When we know better, we do better. Leadership, mentorship and education are keys to uplifting the next generation. Generational wealth is vitally important as is land ownership. Enjoyed the discussion and especially the break. Keep up the great job. 👏 🏆
Im Jamerican and have cousins some of who are teachers coming to the states and getting jobs to work during their summer vacation which is sad. Unemployment is high and pay is low in Jamaica and many of those who get degrees end up with failed business, leave country or work under someone especially the Asians, many of who are taking over the country. That is not ok. It really bothers me and i dont even live in Jamaica 😄 One day so help me God id like to go to Jamaica and work with people to promote entrepreneurship and focus on vocational education and set up organizations to help fund programs for kids and adults who cant afford vocational training many of who can be volunteers. There they can learn plumping, electrician, tailoring, computer, leadership, customer service, money management skills etc. Many businesses you dont even need to purchase or rent a place for business. You might just need supplies but getting a loan might be an obstacle. Theres no excuse for crime. Its laziness that causes people to want to get money easily.
Employers giving low wages are part of the reason for criminality who can live on 15 k jmd a week with a family . also unfair work place practices and not enough opportunities for youth are part of the issue . historically after years of oppression some jamaican have a i do not care attitude , right of entitlement and very bad mind . as british jamaican i have been robbed by jamaicans , who i've tried to help out the kindness of my heart . l love the country but a lot of the people are traumatised . i know your channel about positivity but you have to tell everyone the truth . There are issues in this country the land we love .
