🌴Ingredients
1 Tsp cinnamon powder
1 Tsp nutmeg
1 Tsp all spice
1/2 Tsp salt
1 cup soft brown sugar
1 Tbsp vanilla
5 cups raisins
1 1/2 cup red cherry
4 1/2 cups self raising flour
2 stick butter/1 cup
7 eggs
1 Tsp rose water
1/2 almond essence/Optional
12 inches cake
🛑Baked for 1 hour 20 minutes medium to low heat

Hi, I have been looking at lots of JA recipes for the past week but yours have stuck and I think I will go with your recipe. I do have to add that you forgot 2 ingredients and their measurements in the description even though you added them to the mix: Lime juice and browning. Thanks again for sharing with us! Aww thank you very much I really hope you enjoyed my recipe, yes you are absolutely right the reason for that is you can always add to your liking you can add at least 1 whole lime juice and 1/3 cup browning or abit over depends how dark you want it if you want it to be more darker like mines add around 1/2 cup that’s a 12 inches cake so I add more browning I went for a darker look, let me know if there’s anything you need help me.

Around 2 1/2 Tbsp of baking powder for a 12 inches cake, the rose water is optional if you don’t have it that’s fine👌🏾

It can’t be added cause this is a fruit cake, but if you want to add your own ingredients and make it your own it’s up to you, but that’s a great idea you got I might try it sounds good🤤🥰

It’s soft brown sugar I buy it here in the U.K. when you go to the supermarket ask for soft brown sugar it’s good for baking, if not used what you have it still will work👌🏾
