Dear self, Here are some things you should remember of your trip to The Dominican Republic. Even though the food there is good, as always, you miss food from home. The ingredients are affordable, you got a small chicken for about $3 USD / $465 JMD and this entire meal cost less $20 USD. The people here seem to be VERY afraid of spicy food, it took me 3 days to find Spicy peppers. I really love that soda from Country club, it cost me 50 cents USD if I return the bottle. Plantains are abundant and cheap here, because of this I've adopted these people as my own. Good job with smoking the chicken, wood chips or charcoal would be even better.
Victor I don't know much of Airbnb there as I was there a few years back and had to stay with families as an exchange student but I got the opportunity to stay at Hotel Atalaya on Avenida Contreras at it was reasonable.The rooms have its own bathroom, kitchenette,porch and was reasonable at that time, perhaps you can see if it is still available
