I tried it. It came out great; I should have waited a little bit longer to put in the ackee. It boiled out. There is something amazing, to me, cooking with coconut milk does for foods. Thank you for sharing.

@@JerenesEats Ooooh yes my hubby LOVES his ackee but I have never tried it; when he cooks salt fish he always take a portion out before he put the ackee in.
Would love to give this one a try, looks delectable..... is that fresh ackee you used or from the can ? I can only get it from the can where I live :-(
It's delicious thanks for watching! I only get fresh ackee sometimes and the canned ackee will work perfectly just rinse it gently before using it though because the preservatives sometimes come with their own flavour 😁 The brands I've used are Grace or Governor's Choice. There are other good ones
