Ms. Debbie I just did tin mackerel run dung...I use can coconut milk....It didn't make such a good custard as the real deal...But it was good nonetheless.....I told my mom about you and she said to tell you God bless you and keep sharing cooking the real island way...
I'm definitely trying this with boiled tapioca [cassava, yucca] Thank you mamma Debbie much love from Los Angeles, California [ born in beautiful Island of Fiji ]

Love this recipe. It went really well. I didnt have any dry coconut but i used the grace coconut powder and did it the same way like you did and the custard started to form. It tasted awesome from now on thats how i will be cooking my tin mackerel.

Always a pleasure Ms Debbie! Long time since I've had this. Must get my dry coconut and try it soon. I hate electric can openers too. If you ever had a restaurant in the states, it would be packed always. Between the good food and your awesome personality your business would thrive. God bless you and the family.
You are my girl!! Thanks Ms. Debbie for your passion with your cooking!! I love the way you cook in your kitchen!! You bring me back to my youth!! Hi Mrs. Debbie, agreed, I grew up with crab and shrimp rundown, so it can be what you want it to be. Love your show and the way you cook. Don't pay attention to the haters, they are not worth your time. Manners and respect!
Wow thank YOU so much Mrs. Debbie, I'm definitely going to be making this dish. It looks very easy & quick to make. Thanks for spending your time, talent & love from Mrs. Melody & Mr. Anthony in Ca & im looking forward to making this & your Jamaican rice!
Auntie thanks for your Run Down or Dip and Fall Back recipe. I admire how you do your cooking, and love watching both channels. I notice a lot of Jamaicans don’t bother to use the Authentic annatto in meats, stews, etc. and even the Good ole Run Down with that orange color. Blessings keep giving us the good ole time Cooking.
Great day beautiful Queen....I made this recipe, and omg!!! It was soooo delicious...everyone loved it!! I had just a small portion left over and froze it. Just ate the leftovers today over seasoned white rice...soooo good!👍😋...I'll be making a larger batch of this the next time. Thank you, love your videos🤗😍💖
*Good morning Queen and Camera Girl♥♥I have never tried mackerel. I've seen in it in the store next to the canned salmon. I always wondered what it looked and tasted like. The way you prepared it sis looks so hearty and filling. Going to have to try this. Thank you♥*
Wicked dish Miss Debs. Never had mackerel from the tin for rungdun always use salt mackerel. Gonna definitely try this. I'm in the UK fresh coconut hard to come by. Will try with tin coconut milk and see how I go. One piece of Breadfruit and your good to go. Bless and no stress to eat that beautiful meal.👌🏽😘
Idk how i ended up here.... I think i was looking for how to make brown stew chicken🤔. Either way imma stay. New subie here miss Debbie. I love watching you. Thank you for showing me how to cook REAL jamaican food. Im not jamaican but i love the food and exploring new ways to cook. Much love to you from the U.S.
I love run corn meal with doctor fish or some stew chicken back. But what I would twist it with is some crush pumkin to give the corn meal some more color. Bless
Hey sista Debbie it's the first me hear about tin mackerel run dung and the other name must try it one day with some green bananas. Thanks for the idea big up yourself and camera girl me appreciate you both nuff love
Yes Ms. Debbie I bought a fancy can opener from macys. It promise not to leave a jagged edge. Mah! In less than a year I fling it in the garbage and asked my son to order the regular hand crank, sharp edge can opener and I couldn't be happier 😍
First time watching one of your videos. Love it to the max! Never had tin mackerel run down before. Definitely going to try it. Love your vibes!! Keep it up and nuff blessings!
Miss Debbie it make sense because all the time when I feel for run down and I don't have any salt mackerel I dash in some saltfish or tin mackerel is what I have at the moment is what I use.
Great recipe and the lady was very enthusiastic, it's just I couldn't understand much of what she was talking about. Guess it my fault for not coming from Jamaica. Will check out her other videos 👍
