Every one the company, UPS drivers, supervisors and regular employees know about her disgusting attitude. She will disrespect you, insult you anytime even without provocation, even to people meeting her for the 1st time. A report about her uncivic conduct is being filed with HR. its a beautiful Island but I dont get the aggresive vibe
I am Jamaican also and unfortunately what you are saying is true about many Jamaicans, not all, but too many. One of my co-workers told me that I was the only nice person from Jamaica she's ever known, and this made me so sad.
THIS IS TRUE ! It’s not all Jamaicans but it’s a lot of them! Jamaicans are well known to be disrespectful because it’s true. Really bad communication skills. The culture is AGRESSIVE , STRESSFUL AND TOXIC. I love being Jamaican but hate how a lot of us interact so poorly with others. Majority of my family is Jamaican and they were very overwhelming and hard to be around and speak to. I’m not family orientated. you have some decent and respectful and opened minded Jamaican but the culture is WELL KNOWN TO BE HARSH BECAUSE IT LITERALLY IS. Jamaicans culture has a very aggressive history.
I know this Jamaican couple who came to live in the U.S with their kids. They would literally steer me down whenever we see each other. When they finally warm up to us, they wouldn't know where, when and how.Mind you, this is a predominantly white neighborhood and we are the only caribbean people there.Whenever they see us,whether is a store, on the road, they do not care who is around. They are often loud, harsh and crazy.I always feel embarrassed to be around them but just because all of us are caribbean i try to tolerate.I never had any experience with jamaicans until met them and i was disappointed.

But ofc they would call it being bold, direct or assertive.
Yes that maybe true about Some but I was born in Jamaica and while I don’t have a lot of respect for All Jamaican because of attitude I was brought up to show respect at All times embrace people of any Colour But if they are not respectful of me and my family then I will not tolerate their disrespect nature. It's mostly Kingston people. Country people are much calmer and a bit more amiable. Kingston people are not just disrespectful. They are rude, hostile, no cordiality, cantankerous, angry, cross and miserable. I think it's something in the water over there!!!
Nah, I ain' mad at her for this video at all. Jamaicans have a hostility and a rudeness about them that I haven't seen amongst any of the other islanders. Overly aggressive and speak with this angry tone. Like they treat you like you're beneath them. (Not all of them, but a lot of them). And they are BIG TIME BULLIES. They love to taunt and tease people. I notice that about them.
I even have anxiety disorder because of Jamaicans, whenever I see them I cross the road and never give them a second stare, idk what's up with them and that culture but they are not a very pleasant group of people to be around
Im currently in Jamaica and the people make me never want to talk to a Jamaican or step foot in Jamaica again. They are fake nice to you so they can ask for money later on. Thats most of them and i dealt with the craziest man while on the trip stating "did you come here to f**k?" I said no and he gets angry because he felt his efforts were wasted when i repeatedly wanted to be left alone and said so. Never coming back i swear!!!!
They’re all con artists so they use those strategies. They all have good money to they just lie to get your money they have this deep hatred for Americans
@QofEnlightenment I was wondering if anyone else felt this way, everything u said is spot on. It's so sad cause the island is nice the people are wretched, they are professional users disgusting, family worse than strangers
Jamaican and fake nice doesn't go into the same sentence, if a Jamaican doesn't like you, you will know, they are very blunt. If you are a tourist, spend money with the local and stop acting stingy
Not Jamaican, I'm Ghanaian. however the first time a man put their hands on me was my Jamaican brother in-law, at the time I was 21 and he was 40 and dating my sister. My fight or flight response kicked in. I busted a lamp over his head for that. It was a very traumatic experience as he is a bigger taller older man. The pathetic thing is, my sister didnt want to be a single mother so she married him, the child isn't even his, she was trying to find a husband because she was tired of being alone. He brought nothing to table financially but benefited from her. She married him even though he had a history of beating his ex-wife and he hit me. I don't blame her. In highschool from grades 9-11 there always one girl who wanted to fight me and didnt like me for reasons never explained and all three grades all three girls were all Jamaican. With that being said I have female friends who are Jamaican and they are considered weird because they are very different and their families are not about that rudeness, you remind me of them. Same thing happened to me when I went to grenada when I was 10. I had breasts already at that age n my mom literally had to fight off grown ass men from me. I think it's a Caribbean thing in general but even more than that, it's a class thing. There are different social classes in the Caribbean. The more educated, the more well-behaved
Thank you! None of the things she mentioned are specific to Jamaica. Men are perverts and they act on their urges more openly when those actions have no or little consequence. American men may not holler or grab a little girl's body in public, but that doesn't mean you would let your daughter go out by themselves or be behind closed doors with adult men.
As a Jamaican myself, I totally do agree with u.....We Jamaicans need to wake up n realize not because our music n culture is so famous n accepted all over, that the world revolves around us, or is obligated to accept us with our dirty behavior. I say this many times....it's time for us to wake up n be more accepting, so we can be more accepted.
My friends just went to Jamaica, a Brazilian couple, and they were super disappointed. Basically they said jamacians always have an attitude, always try to scam you even on bus/taxi rides, get angry if you look at them for too long, they catcalled and agressively approached the girl even though she was with her boyfriend. And everything was expensive: hotels, food, taxi, entrances etc Then they went to Cuba and felt like in paradise. Friendly nice respectful people, food good and cheap, nobody tries to scam you etc.
Is it the couple from "MundoSemFim" channel?... If it is, I would never go to Jamaica after seeing their video. Everyone was so harsh and disrespectful to them... I mean, everywhere there are around 5% of people you meet who will be rude/stupid, and its normal. But in Jamaica it seems like 50% or even more are rude and stupid woth tourists. Honestly, I thought Jamaica was a relaxing place to be...I changed my mind, my girlfriend watched their video too, and we came to conclusion we would not go to Jamaica even if we win a free airplane ticket. @@Jamaicangirl21000 nah lol y’all are uber aggressive as fuck. Black Americans always try to have a bit of logic and speak rational before they get mad but you guys go 0 - 100 in 2 seconds over small things. No rhyme or reason jamaicans are the most emotional and disturbed people on Earth
If you go to a restaurant in negril to eat ,as a Jamaican you get the worst service ever because in there heads black people don't tip,, if you just sit and observe how they treat Americans and Canadian, and European, they treat all these people better than there own kids but they cannot see it because the money blind them to reality,,Jamaican put pride over principles,,most Jamaican think if they dress expensive or have a car that it ,but they fail to understand that it's the things what you do count, not what you have.
It’s the same on all those tourist islands, especially barbados, it’s so sickening to watch. I travel a lot to the Caribbean and I’m always heart broken to see these people in the service industry treating black people like dogs, it’s so infuriating to observe. I was in barbados last year, and stayed in st lawrence gap, and I promised myself never to go back. Years ago it was really nice, the elders had way more respect for black tourist, but these younger people suck up to whites and handle black travelers like they don’t need your business. Same with Tobago, those young boys in tobago who hang around the tourist areas looking to pick up white chicks are so aggressive and unfriendly it’s not funny, in fact in all those tourist islands where black men hustle on the beach is unfriendly to black tourist but kiss up to white folks, it’s almost like they hate seeing us. Caribbean people really need to clean up their act, or they’ll get left behind while chasing the white dollar.
Now I understand why I've never felt accepted and angry 🎉 wow thanks for this video! I'm mixed and always just felt it was the mix of colonizers blood but now I understand it's more than that!!
The truth is what it is...even if u help them, it's nothing for them to turn right around and cuss the clothes off your back, ungrateful, bad minded, evil not to be trusted for one nano second. Don't know what is the cause of this behavior but it smacks of demonic possession and it's all over the Island, except for a handful of decent honest minded people who still live there.
I work with them at Resturant if you ain’t growing up there in Jamaica, you ain’t gonna be able to tolerate being around them for too long because your upbringing don’t match the mindset and they are very negative and they are Nick picking and you’re hateful
@@Misschinchin_birdtrue I am born in a Jamaica household. I am Americanized. They make a distinction between Jamaican people born on the island and people born in America whose parents are Jamaican. They make you feel ostracized and I don't fit it with them. Jamaicans are rude, disrespectful, envious, and very vindictive people. Not all but a lot of them possess those characteristics and are not pleasant to be around.
Well, you are an American, if you were born here. That is your primary nationality. Jamaican is your heritage, not your nationality. And no, nationality doesn't mean race.
There’s a lot of American born citizens with dual citizenship and I’m one of those US citizens who had the privilege to travel with both passport documents. This lady Jamaican heritage can also be her nationality if she apply for Jamaican citizenship.
@@NativeNomad10She’s free to travel to Jamaica because she’s hasn’t committed a crime that would prevent her from coming to Jamaica. Jamaica is a toxic country full of criminals terrorizing people trying to make an honest living. Other Caricom countries are not a wicked like Jamaica.
@@NativeNomad10 you’re not healthy for your own country, because instead of checking yourself and cleaning up your act, you chose to ignore the findings. Just remember that there’s no greater criticism than constructive criticism. If I have food in my beard I’d like for someone to inform me that I need to clean up,not laugh and talk with me while I look ridiculous unknowingly. What kind of friend would do such a thing?
I think you are a bit confused.. You talk about some heavyweight black educators like Bobby Hemmitt yet you're trying to belittle or stigmatized a whole entire nation of people base on your individual experience.... All Jamaicans don't walk around begging people... Jamaicans are very proud people that why a lot of people secretly hate on them... As a tiny nation of black people look at the impact they have on the world stage... I would advise you or whosoever have there personal experience with the Jamaican they come in contact with don't generalize and think all people are the same... Just like how all white people are not racist... All Jamaican are NOT what you're describing.. Peace and Love 🇯🇲
I'm Bahamian and I have heard stories from people, I have observed, and I have had an encounter with a Jamaican lady...here's what I think they feel their musical and altheltic achievements give them entitlements and the right to belittle others they feel are less than they are..I mean if it wasn't for bob marley pushing reggae music...reggae music would be like any other music...marketing is a BIG DEAL...but they should be happy when people in other islands like Bahamas embrace their music and not trying to "steal" it like they'd like to think...but Bahamians rarely play reggae anymore...i mean it used to be blasting from young boys car in 90-early 2000s but nowadays it doesn't seem to be that popular like in the days of 90s so be happy no one can take reggae from Jamaica the world knows you guys invented it...but you guys are not the only ones who produce greatness!!
It’s so funny because any real Jamaican knows the immediate response to someone not liking them. 😂 “mi like you?” “Mi much like too” “mi wise no like you” 😂
It’s like there’s so negative you can predict your next move. They always wanna like insinuate or imply something subliminally and if you were still, I corrected there at like what you sent wasn’t so they play a lot of mind games culturally they they’re very like mischievous and thinking they always have some type of intention, and they have flood you with questions with personal questions. If you are not a liar, you end up opening yourself to them, because they are very intrusive and ask them questions and whatever they actually gonna start talking like they know you like that, and it would even spread narratives, so it’s like when you talk to them you have to be very per cautious with your words in like things that you say because you’re negative listeners and they are listening to have something to miss term against you so I really hate the culture. They are very negative even down to the man we give you hate, and you and your woman, like they are very competitive if you work in the in the workplace with them, you never see a man.
The Caribbean culture has a poor privileged mindset, if we keep running away from our people their behaviors will only get worst, we the children are their teachers, when they speak rude, you carry patience and speak to them in a different energy, it’s a spiritual fight but we must be strong.
No sir! Dont drag other Caribbean nations into the spotlight! Truth be told Indy Jamaicans act this way. Yall super aggressive cuz other Caribbean nations like Guyana, Antigua, Barbados, The Bahamas etc. are not aggressive like Jamaicans. So no dont try that...
@@LMartin242 well ma’am, sir, alien, I live in Brooklyn I know what I’m talking about, I dealt with Trinidadians, Jamaicans, Haitians, Guyanese, Grenadians, st.Vincent folks, folks from Bahamas and Barbados, etc…. Every Caribbean folks that comes straight from the Caribbean have an aggressive mindset/attitude, Jamaicans just air theirs out w/no effs given
@@Thecoolcatzz lol sorry but dealing with SOME and not living or interacting with them daily tells you nothing. Your immaturity and ignorance proves the lady in the video correct. These people from other Caribbean countries are aggressive when you trigger them. However, Jamaicans are GENERALLY aggressive at ALL times. They are and that's the truth... we dont act that way in The Bahamas and please stop bout you live in Brooklyn, all of you illegals run to Brooklyn dear thats no secret so dont boast yourself to me. That's the issue people are having with you all now.. boastful, immature and aggressive lil rapists. You all have a huge problem with men killing women and raping kids in Jamaica plus kidnapping. The war against women is sickening down there and I just left in April. Soon as I reach big fight in the supermarket in Ochi. So save your ridiculous excuses man.
@@LMartin242 still all Caribbean folks have the same mindset, so like I said Jamaicans should be dealt with love, because Caribbean folks understands what it’s like to be irate and easily angered, give Jamaicans a break, every Caribbean thinks the way they talk, is my point!
HI Sorry 😞 you have to feel that way about Jamaican. Not all Jamaican is that way I know I married one. When Jamaica started to get into political parties and dropping the queen and moving to less British seems like the trouble makes are more bold and violate. You have a right to feel that way. Alot of my family members will not go home to Jamaica because of this. You take the way of your oppressors. Thinking you are going to get more freedom. Total wrong. Peace and one 💘 love queen.
Thank you for the reply. I understand. As a older African American man. I remember my mom who family is from Georgia 🇬🇪. Tell me young girls and young women would have the same experiences in the south. That why she never trusted men or strange people are us. Especially my sisters. I am 63 . Its just like in the color purple 💜 these men was like this Especially from small town in the country where not too many people. Same. We as brothers protected our sisters. That was mandatory. 8 boys 3 girls cousins included too Especially females. This is why I am glad you brought this up. Its all over in other parts of the Diaspora as well. We have to protect our children Especially our girls and young boys. This is not only a Jamaican problem its Black problem for us and also a human problem. Thank you for your response. Peace and one its all ways a battle MY QUEEN
I totally understand your love hate relationship with Jamaicans, I apologise to you on behalf of my people for your unpleasant experiences you have had. However, if you take some time to understand the social and hstory of Jamaica you will understand us a bit more. I am Jamaican and some of us all we know is violence... The jamaican society has gotten too sexualised and I am not surprised about your experience as a child. Too many broken homes, which are usually led by a single parent (usualy a woman). The Jamaican culture in the 70's to what it is now now is influenced by so many factors... Historically we are strong-willed, agressive and crazy ha ha.. However, I strongly believe our behavious is strongly influenced by a number of factors! - Social Environment/Socialisation - Family Structure - Poverty - Personal Trauma (Loads of Jamaicans living in Garrisons, poor communities are just faced with constant violence) - PREJUDICE!!! We are mentally traumatised... There is strong colour prejudice on the island! Then there is classism... It will take some time for us to return to the 60's to early 80's when life in Jamaica was good!
You seem to be one of the few Jamaicans who seem to be self aware. But every nation has collective traumas and not every nation copes with it with aggressiveness. Jamaicans have to overcome their past and victim status and focus on their strength instead of trying to imitate white culture. You had role models in the past , e.g. bob Marley , markus Garvey etc transcending hardship into something new , inspiring and beautiful. White mans culture esp. the capitalistic one swapping from the US does no good to Jamaicans. The maroons fought their oppressors and only centuries later black ppl want to fit in and lick white mans ass. And I’m saying this as a white man ..)
So even those that are living abroad like the UK for example where I grew up, why is it that so many Jamaicans carry on this toxic mannerisms and behavior ? Growing up with them was hell fire for me and because of that, I have anxiety disorder
@@vincentalakija5515 You1st have to understand the communities these people are coming from., then yu would have a clear understanding of their behaviour. They take the same rachcet behaviour with them! When I moved to the UK to study in 2003, i had to wonder if all of the Jamaicn ghetto ppl in Englad! You heard them b4 you sw them! 1st time i went to Brixton, i really felt scared & I am from Kingston. Among the whole lot there are some decent hard working Jamaicans in the UK, I met a lot of them when i worked as a teller at JN in Birmingham!
@@Aoewu_225Broken homes start with women. They’re more than likely to file for divorce, take the children to relocate elsewhere. I’m tired of women vilifying men for everything. Learn to take responsibility and accountability.
As a Jamaican American myself, id say just enjoy your American birth right privileges and opportunities while embracing your heritage. Other races of people enjoy us way more than each other. And with that note, other people will make you financially wealthy. Hint, hint, tek the damn hint.
@@farhia711I felt that way about them growing up in London UK, they always had tensions with Africans all the time and usually unprovoked from their end
@@muahful I live in NY, its crawling with them and they are so rude and xenophobic, if you are not from one of their islands, they have a problem with you
Latin people are the same when they find out you don’t speak Spanish .. and I’m Jamaican.. we don’t even like each other sometimes so don’t take it personal..
Listen. This is the reality of life when it comes to American borns from ANYWHERE in the World. One you born outside of the home country, where ever that is, you're considered AMERICAN. Irish will tell you that, Italians will tell you that, Russian, Greeks, South Americans They'll all tell you that. I'm American born and when I was growing up in Jamaica I was the "YANKEE". Then when I came back to the USA I was the "JAMAICAN COCONUT". You can't win. Part of my family is from Chile and their parents had to leave when the political situation got hot. My cousins born here are all "GRINGOS" when they visit Chile. Yes. It sucks. But that's the way it is. The outside World doesn't understand American identity politics.
Well i have to make a comment again some groups Jamaicans would be one show no incentive to assimilate into the country they moved into by their own choice no one asked Jamaicans to move from their country to the U.S it was there choice the only ones that show that they even reside anywhere in the U.S would be those who live where the numbers are very small for whatever reason they are attracted to a state or region and live among large groups of Americans of ethnic backgrounds the rest they will congregate in large numbers buy or rent out all the homes as one American family after another flees from them pretty soon that part of town is like foreign country even going to the mcdonalds you wonder if your still in America no one sounds like their from any where in this country when you get to feeling in your own country its a terrible feeling
Sorry about your experience. But that’s the culture and that’s the accent . I remember when I started traveling I have to adapt to other countries attitude accent and the way they came across people .so it’s not just Jamaica ok
