if Rhett becomes a successful musician outside of the mythical beasts it will make me so happy for him, seeing him do his music makes me as proud as it would if he was my own blood
This is the future. As an Appalachian who grew up with almost the same experience as Rhett in every regard (physically, mentally, spiritually) nothing makes me happier than returning to my roots with music that speaks to my spirit as a deconstructed Christian and my history as a farm boy from the Shenandoah Valley. I wish I could show him that he is reviving the spirit exactly how he wants is so many of us Appalachians who have been disconnected from it by necessity due to many of its faults. Much love
I sold Rhett a jacket in Park City during the Sundance Film Festival. I’ll never forget that moment. He still had his shorter hair. Can’t believe he’s performing. Insane!
As a gmm fan of 8 years and a life long country music fan this brings me an immeasurable amount of joy! Love how both old country music and his work on songs for mythical influence his songs.
I have had the pleasure of seeing Rhett and Link live. Both of them are so absolutely awesome live. Both are immensely talented. And man...if you get the chance to see one or the other, if you can...DO IT. I wish the crowd had more energy because I would have been crazy woman screaming.
@@Hailz01Gamming I've only seen them once, but we splurged on the vip tix and I got to meet them. Literally best experience ever. I wish I could go to the Event this month!
This is one of the most awesome things I have seen in a while. I love Rhett and Link. So watching Rhett do something he enjoys outside of gmm is just icing on the cake.
though being from appalachia, i wasn't really exposed to country music until i began watching good mythical morning as a ten year old haha. now i live in nashville and rhett has a whole ass album out. so proud!
Who is them? If it’s Rhett he just dropped an album that is definitely worth checking out, GMM fan or country fan, deconstructed Christian or churchgoer or none. It’s wonderful
@@HashFlingnSlashr "them" meaning both Rhett and Link. I agree with the eye of the beholder, I miss them making songs together because it was all immaculate, though I do love that Rhett is branching out on his own. :]
@@officialmetalwill I would not personally use those words, but I am completely shocked to see how people praise him. He might as well start a cult at this point.
this really gives me texas country bar with live local band vibes..... I really love some genuine shii. almost can't believe this is the same rhett from gmm
❤❤❤❤❤ so happy I stumbled upon this!!! I’ve been listening to Rhett’s new album for the past couple days since it dropped and it’s soooooo good!!! He’s such a talented person. #JamesandtheShame
@@kdmill7563 nailed it! Fruit is one of my favorites… and In vain! These are the two songs I’ve listened to the most. Lyrical genius @rhettmc #JamesandtheShame
@@amberwhite-dawn2367 do you have a church or ex church background? I think that’s why those resonate with me so strongly. I’ve thought all those things, I just never could have put it as eloquently as Rhett did.
when i saw the thumbnail i said "that guy looks like rhett, it would be funny if i joked about it" however i didn't expect him yo actually be rhett lmao
