The Seamaster 300 “Spectre” was the best Bond model... understated, subtle, and the only real branding was on the caseback. That timepiece is special. This one appears a bit busy. Still, I’d take one, just not quite as enthusiastically. lol

As usual, another not so limited ‘limited edition’? It would be perfect if Daniel Craig actually wear a modern sub. It would have been a perfect reinterpretation of Sean Connery’s classic bond in the modern world and remain relevant to Ian Fleming’s novels.

Nah, If he is goning to wear an automatic watch it should be an Omega. I don't see Bond signing up on a waiting list for the sub when the Seamaster is cheaper and arguably better.

Lars Vargas Well, I have never seen a single scene of Mr Bond actually walked into a boutique to buy a watch. Have u? I guess it’s quite obvious where he actually got his watch from. If u think a watch that used to carry ETA movement is better then it’s ur choice cause it’s ur money and are u sure the current price point is actually cheaper for this piece? I would suggest u to look up for the retail price. Rolex unarguably produce great watches with solid movements. It’s a proven record for the last few decades.

@@Touyoujin This partucilar one may not be be the most value one. However the "normal" current Smp 300 is much cheaper and has a superb movement and is 15 times more antimagnetic than a Rolex Milgauss. But of course none of this matters if you don't like the watch. Buy what you like. I own a Brosnan Smp 300 and a Planet Ocean 2500 and enjoy both of them despite the ETA based movements they are using.

Lars Vargas Great that u enjoy your ETA movements. I personally would not wanna spend premium on a piece of watch that carry movement similar to what one can find in a Hamilton or Steinhart. If I want an ETA movement then I will buy one with ETA movement that would be priced way below Omega. Anti-magnetism to me is simply a gimmick, all watches work just fine even without one. One can easily do their own watch demagnetizing by spending a few dollars on a demagnetizing device.

Have a handful of Omegas, among them striking classics from the past - including a 321 Speedmaster. Omega can do better and should stop pumping endless editions. Focus, Omega.
