@@kidz4p509In Die Another Day, Graves is originally a general's son who was presumed dead by falling. They thought Bond killed him, but he got physical transformation surgery. So it might be a reference to that.
But then wouldn't be megalomaniacal villains now would they? They're braggart high on themselves wanting to demonstrate to Bond how immensely superior they are to him before they kill him in some novel way. Why? Because psychos like to come up with sick, novel ways of killing somebody. Roman emperors certainly did that to their worst enemies. Last of all none of the Bond villains ever knew the gadgets he had from Q branch - without which he *would* be long dead.
@@wezmarauder2754 The only real exception to this is Alec Travelyan from Goldeneye, he knew about the gadgets from Q, but here it's more its mere arrogance that caused his death, not megalomania...
Fun fact: After a preview of The Spy Who Loved Me director Lewis Gilbert felt a connection between Jaws and the audience so they quickly added the scene of him surviving the sinking Atlantis.
12:26 One of the coldest Bond villain deaths ever - leave a guy in the middle of the driest desert in the world with a liter of motor oil. Just desserts for what Greene did to Fields.
Lance A. Boyle I did like roger Moore as bond, it’s just the writing during his tenure was all over the place. One minute they wanted wanted bond to be more comical, then serious, then comical again, they just couldn’t make their minds up
@@truongnd1 No, no, no. He wasn't KGB, he was a member of the Janus crime syndicate and was a rogue agent for years. And the KGB wouldn't have trust a Lienz Cossack anyway since they were seen as traitors and were all shot. This is btw the reason Trevelyan wants his revenge.
The thing that really got me is thinking of the clean up team going in and seeing his corpse. And they correctly predict his last words just by looking at his gesture.
Same thing with Elektra King in The World Is Not Enough. And for Roger Moore, Emile Locque. Moore's Bond never really killed a villain for personal reasons because that's how Moore portrayed him and preferred to have him remembered for, but the cold-blooded, unflinching way he just kicked his car over the edge, it said "That's for Ferrara, and that's for Lisl"
Yeah they should have shown the whole scene in one from the dish falling on him to the boris part surviving then dying just as it is in the movie, given the duration of the Pierce and Daniel kills he's obviously more of a modern fan.
I remember as a kid really wanting to see the follow up to 'Live and Let Die' because I really wanted to see Baron Samedi again, I was so confused and pissed when I watched 'The Man with the Golden Gun'
I especially enjoyed the parts where Sean Connery was barely holding his own against an old lady, and where Roger Moore shoots the world's greatest assassin once but the old fat guy sitting down four times.
Quite agree. His overall portrayal was generally very suave and quite tongue-in-cheek, with great delivery of the throwaway lines. There were however occasional glimpses of the cold, ruthless killer which Fleming created. RIP Sir Roger; my favorite Bond.
The problem with Roger Moore is he stayed in the role too long, if he’d retired after For Your Eyes Only and let Brosnan take over his status would’ve been secured
jennifersman If anything Timothy Dalton would’ve taken over and gotten to play in about 5 films. Diamonds are Forever would’ve been better with Lazenby and Goldeneye would’ve been better with Dalton
It’s Free Real Estate Hell no, Goldeneye would have tanked. There’s a reason why Dalton’s Bond movies were somewhat modest critical successes and didn’t make money. It’s also why after Dalton left, Goldeneye practically made more money than both TLD and LTK combined and Brosnan was heavily favored compared to his predecessor.
This was a pretty good compliation and in the correct order however as many others have pointed out if you went to all this trouble why leave so many others out, this is a great video but it could have been an outstanding one.
RagingGumballMachine austin powers is a comedy based off of 007, dr evil is blofeld, number 2 is well, number 2. and alot of the deaths and villians are based off of those in the 007 series.
Great, Iv`e been wanting to see a video collection of main baddie deaths here. Many great ones! Bond hasn`t allways fought the villains hand to hand, it has mainly been the henchmen`s job, but I love it the times he has done it. Especially Trevelyan, that man could fight!
Where is hans's death Where is Fiona Volpe's death Where is professor dent's death Where is mayday's death Where is gobinda's death Where is Dario's death Where is chang's death Where is Emile locque's death Where is General Orlov's death Where is stamper's death Where is general Koskov's death(you could have showed him when Pushkin says he is gonna get executed) You missed out all these deaths
mrghostkiller11 And Colonel Jacques Bouvar's death, and Helga Brandt's death, and Mr. Osato's death, and Grunther's death, and Sandor's death, and Naomi's death, and Hector Gonzales' death, and Apostis' death, and Erich Kriegler's death, and Ed Killifer's death, and Milton Krest's death, and Colonel Heller's death, and Dr. Kaufman's death, and Mr. Kil's death, and Steven Obanno's death, and Gettler's death... The list goes on!!
I like how tee hee can't get his arm out of the prosthesis but after bond throws him out the window it comes right out. It was pretty awesome how he did it tho.
Wow that last ones with Craig were so dull and unimaginative. And no bad girls either. Well there was the blond girl in Casino Royale but she didn't do much and Severine definitely had the look of a bad girl in Skyfall.
truongnd1 When I was a kid, I used to ask, "Is his name Goldfinger because his hand is made out of gold?" But I never saw his hand made out of gold lol.
Gampr Habanero Kananga’s death was outlandish. I’ll take Trevelyan falling 50 feet down to a satellite dish and then crushed by the antenna cradle over a silly compressed air pellet death.
I still remember 'GoldenEye' on N64 and having to replay trying to kill 'Ms. Squeeze' Russian agent. It was when you first picked up the AR/M-16 and wow I loved that gun-it was so fun you didn't care how many tries it took. Ah the good old days.
Yep, he survives the fall but actually gets killed when the antennae falls on top of him. Though funnily enough, the fall should have killed 006/Alec, but it looks like he has broken his back after the landing.
I really hope they bring back some older enemies like Baron Samedi for the next Bond film, that would be awesome since Samedi cheated death thanks to voodoo!
JJOOKER He was both. That's what happened when you play tricks on everybody, it goes against you XD Dennis Nedry trolled everybody: Hammond, mr Andrew ,Jurassic Park, in return he was trolled by the stormy weather, his car, the slimy road and even the Dilophosaure. XD
11:30 This death is so awesome, because Zao got diamonds in his head by an explosion set of by Bond during the North Korea opening scene, and now he dies again by Diamonds.
Decompression is an incredibly powerful suction. It doesn't matter what size you are, if you decompress a plane window at an altitude such as that, grab hold of something otherwise you're going out the window.
Yep, an airplane is compressed so much, that once you start to decompress the oxygen inside of the plane at that altitude, it acts like a magnet, so as Evil Gopher said - you'd better grab onto something like Bond did, otherwise you'll end up being sucked out of the airplane like Goldfinger.
Can't believe the actress (Lotte Lenya) who played Rosa Klebb was born in October 1898. Same as Mr Grace (Harold Bennett) from Are you being served ? and Ena Sharples (Violet Carson) from Coronation Street. September to November 1898 gave us some great actors & actresses.
