Why Chadwick Boseman is not considered one of our greatest youngest actors is beyond me. He brings something potent to every part he is in, better than many I can remember. Does an actor have to be white to get the respect. When I watch this man perform, including Black Panther which was hands down the best character in the last movie, I am just blown away. He pulls you into the scene and lights up the emotions.... and no, I am not black, just one who can see past the pigmentation.
ZaneCRUZE LOL. Who the hell is talking about the best and why can't there be two or three or four and WTF does color have to do with it when we are talking about the man and his trade, being acting. Fox was great and he did become Ray but what else has he done that really stands out? And why Fox, why not some Asian, white or Mexican actor to compare him to? WTF are you talking about Poor Black people crap either. Your reading something I am missing? I am talking about acting and you talking about color and poverty. You are on the wrong thread or on something!
You're still playing the same old game. Giving all the respect to the few. There's so many people out there not getting the respect they deserve and Chadwick Boseman is not one of them. Every movie just casts the same black people over and over again and everyone just eats it up. No one is casting unknown black actors. Why doesn't this concern you?
B.S on the black victim card...I agree with this being his best role..however Black Panther was overrated...way over rated..and while he did good on the Jackie Robinson Movie, it was still just above average...but his role as J.B. was worthy at least of a nomination
I know everyone talks about this part of the movie was therefore the best part and I agree it was award worthy, but I thought the part in the movie when his Mom came to visit him backstage was just as powerful after all his Mom put him through that little boy who loved his mother unconditionally still came out, when she left out and he went to his knees and cried oh my Lord I cried for that little boy that up until that point appeared to be a strong young man broke for his Mother all the hurt and pain that was caused he still loved his mother and wanted what was best for her,one of the best performances ever,He truly deserved to win an Oscar he became Mr.James Brown Bravo!!!!!
I only knew one of James Brown's songs (This is a Man's World), but the movie has me loving him and this song. I cry watching this and I'm glad he was able to reconcile with a loyal friend/brother. Rest peacefully Mr. Brown.
This sense was deeper than music and deeper than money - this was the rawness of James Brown because it showed the true meaning of friendship & loyalty but also shows how honorable he is 💯💯💯
This was my dad's jam. Befor he got smoked. ., I love you pops,,happy birthday I love u. .. I watched this movie today and waited for this song. This movie was good.
after reading up on the movie, I found that it was actually James Brown's voice on all of the songs. Most had been remixed and edited. This part is probably cut from a concert or a studio version and is only accessible to the one who holds the master copies. That's unfortunate, because I would pay to have it!
I love the fact that he got down off his high horse, and realize that he treated Byrd unfairly while he was Nothing but a great friend to him before he was too late...(jus realize the reason why he was insisting that he came to the concert lol)
@@lukesimmons2409 *GODFATHER. 👏🏿 James Brown is the GODFATHER OF SOUL. 💯😒 In order to correct someone, you must first be correct! ✔👏🏿lol 🤣 & i say that humbly & with respect! ❤ But also Factually. 🤷🏿😁
this song is so beautiful and so touching because this young man shows you how much James Brown and Bobby really meant to each other it was a relationship that lasted a lifetime and in the end they both knew they needed each other and that was so beautiful about the song I love both of them and I'm glad they did try and they made it to
this is so powerful. my four month old son loves it . when i sing this song to him , he looks at me as if I'm James Brown himself. anytime of the day i can get his attention with this song.
this is a perfect example of how music can speak to you. some people won't get this part, heck, I never got it but after rewatching the movie I understand now
I always look to the sky when I play this.....it's my song to God.....it's just something I always wanted to tell him......don't judge me, it's just me.
Dam i may be young but I can feel the love pain and sadness all these emotions in his voice and that love Stare says it all to both versions are badass
CHADWICK SHOULD HAVE WON AN OSCAR💯. MAY HE REST IN PARADISE🙏🙌. I still cant get over his passing. I KNOW HE'S IN A BETTER PLACE💯🙌. HE'S TAKING GOOD CARE OF . CAN'T QUESTION OUR HEAVENLY FATHER AND OUR LORD AND JESUS SAVIOR CHRIST. BUT AT THE SAME TIME MY HEART IS STILL SADDENED😥😥😥😥
