I just love how Tim on the guitar always looks like he accidentally wandered on the stage, has no clue what's going on but finds it absolutely amazing!
I couldn't have cared less about this show pre- covid. But the chemistry between James, Ian , the band and crew is incredible and now I watch every day. I don't even care about the guests. I could watch the banter all day long.
I don't even know what this show is any more, but I am so here for it! Best late night show by far. I used to look for Stephen Colbert when I woke up, but this is my first choice now.
100% agree. My faves used to be Seth Meyers, John Oliver and Stephen Colbert. Now, Seth & James are tied for first And I rarely watch Colbert. During the challenges of the pandemic, Seth and James rose to the top, setting a very high bar. Colbert has been a huge disappointment. I would rather watch CNN than him. JMO 🤷🏼♀️
I just love everything about this. It has a "Seinfeld" kind of vibe. It is a show about nothing, lol. If you watch the making of Seinfeld he and Larry David insisted on doing it their way despite what the network said. They only cared about being comedians and being true to themselves. They said, "We don't care. We will go back to being comedians in New York and forget doing a show." And we saw what happened there. This show also has kind of a Howard Stern show vibe in that all of the crew are involved personally and it is kind of politically incorrect at times. Its like a reality show about creating a show. It is heart warming and refreshing. The thing about James is that he has an innocence about him. An authenticity that we all can relate and respond to. He and the whole crew are obviously good friends and care about each other. James makes it feel as if he is just one of them. These guys could take this show directly to the internet and kill it. But it is makes it funnier that it is on a major network. And even better that it is on late late night. I love when James says things he is not supposed to and then just like a kid says, "Why? Why am I not allowed to say that?" He is so endearing. Add the accent and all his britisms ("Los Angeleeze," "I'm in bits, I'm in bits!" The three piece polka dotted suit, etc.) and it can't be duplicated. He has talent for days and has a great sense of comedic timing. Do not change anything about this. Or if you do change it let James lead the way. He is like that kid in school who was bullied and teased because he was a bit overweight and a theater geek who is now absolutely killing it. I love the addition of Nick to the show. He and Rob make the perfect "parents" to the unruly group. I never write a comment this long on RU-vid but I cannot get enough of James and the crew and the uniqueness and hilarity of this show. Love the New York accent btw. James nailed it. :)
I mean sure, but the difference between this and Seinfeld is that the main character is actually funny and it’s not the supporting characters doing all the work.
@@guidofalconi1178 You are entitled to your opinion. I don't agree with it. But that is okay. We do not all have to agree. My point was more about how people who are authentic to themselves and how that draws people to them.
I've seen quite a handful of your comments on my post and I just want to appreciate those people whose wishes me good wishes and encourages me and my team, I hope to bring you so much happiness.
I've grown to love this show so much over the last few months! This new format is everything. And, yes, we definitely need to be praying for Nick's sanity 😂🤣
40 seconds in and already poor Nick is stressing! I know it shouldn't be funny to watch someone be so uncomfortable, but this entire ongoing bit is too funny! 🤣

Omg an ad came on between the news jingle and I literally went from a huge smile to a frown. Like how dare you interrupt my "dee dee dee dee de dee deeeeeee"? RU-vid respect me please
It's come to the point where I find myself looking forward to watching these "monologues" every morning, and find myself disappointed when there isn't one to watch on the weekends. Amazing example of what late night can be.

This is part of my routine now. Waiting for the monologue. This is basically my sitcom now. The crew's banter is already gold,. But now messing up with Nick just put more spice we looooove it! Lol,. Side note: Hagar with that hair! 😍
Everyone stops at their own point of reference. The origin of the term “rag and bone man” was a collector of the dead during the plague. The term became the trash collector long after the plague ended.
When I was young in Milwaukee a cart used to come around once a week to collect clothes metal and other recyclables and he also sharpened knives and scissors. Cool memories brought up.
that's just the right amount of positivity and humour we all need! Thank you thank you thank you! Don't stop! So looking forward to monologues from the boat!
Omg poor Nick .. lol he’s dying in his chair over there .. is it torture nick night ?? 🤣🤣😂😂😂he is so valiant .. y’all are so funny .. can’t wait to see the shows from Virgin cruise lines 🤣
*I love Nick!.. but I also feel bad for him having to deal with the others, although it's funny as hell. Thanks to all of them for keeping us entertained. I hope they never go back to an audience.*

This group of people should open a bar and sit around and chat like this. I would drive 1.000 miles to NYC to hang out for one night with them. The ultimate "better-than-Cheers" experience. Don't ever let an audience in again.
Is it me but the late late show are now officially a RU-vid channel/show... and there is nothing wrong with that. I hope the producers know this and when COVID restrictions ease. They need to keep this format and work on/encourage it. Our audience is bigger and will get a lot bigger if they keep churning out this funny, awesome and honest material! Let the jimmys be king of late night TV... James and all of the crew are the kings and queens of late late night RU-vid. Looking for an audience that appreciates honest fun and an honest laugh? You found it. Right here. On the internet!
Havent even watched this yet and I already know its gonna be fkin hilarious just from the cover photo. This is always the first thing I watch when I wake up, ya'll are bringing lights to people's lives, thank you.
I really hope that the entire crew gets to go on this cruise ship for a week. They deserve it they been sticking around through this pandemic. They need a vacation. All 130 of them or however many they have.
