@@thebatmanwholaughs219 What the fu.ck are u talkin about? He's not really that good? Every singer has their own voice kind, and he does like all of them...U need to buy new ears on eBay mate...
roger flanton That's the most stupid thing I've ever heard. Listen to Zayn or Liam and tell me they can't sing. In terms of music they are very good. Liam is very good in higher register for a lyric baritone and his voice works very good throughout his vocal range. Zayn also is very good when it comes to higher fourth or middle fifth octave. Maybe Harry and Niall are not that great but Liam and Zayn are very good singers.
jiminie바보 congrats, and we’re not talking about Dimash here, James’s voice is extremely different from Dimash. And you can’t even compare them all they were saying was it’s surprising he could do that. Since he uses falsetto for all the high notes he can’t belt it like Dimash does. But it’s still amazing that he can reach the notes.
Dimash fans are too damn obsessed about him. You can't escape from them. They put this "DIMASH IS THE BEST! HE HAS 7 OCTAVES VOICE" on literally every video that have "vocal range" in the title, jeez.
Ceylin Akçora I really expected Bb4s with Adele. It's her signature note, the belts of both Hello and Rolling in the Deep (and several others) are Bb4.
When I first started watching carpool karaokes it annoyed me that I couldn't hear the singers because James has such a powerful voice, but then I actually started to like his singing very much and I realized that if he didn't sing, the whole video would be super awkward.
This is so cute, James Is very funny and I love the reactions of One Direction specially Harry when he hit the Note in Best song ever. Its so Cute, Ohh i really enjoyed it. therefore he deserves 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Xtina biggestfan can you help me check out these low notes of a singer? three very short clips: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2tsDxz3Pu88.html
Sia and James both blend really well. Their styles of singing blend really well. I honestly think that they both cover each of their weaknesses and combine their voices to have a really nice quality of voice. @5:03 , James sustained and added a background when Sia did her signature voice crack thing that has become a staple in her songs that a bit of interesting aspects to the song. As long as one doesn't overpower the other, I think that they could make a pretty decent duet. Whether it is original or not would be up to those two but I can imagine them making an entirely new song for the duet if they did one. I looked too far into that, didn't I XD
He's got such a good voice, I really love it. I don't think he actually hit that G#5 at the end though. Between the song and Adele's voice, I can't quite hear it. If he did, it would be that note, yes, but I think I hear him somewhere between F#5 and G5
Yeah, I can go down to an Ab2/G2, and can belt an A4. Once I belted a B4 while mocking one of the Teletubbies :) But James is a great singer, he should release music not tied to Carpool Karaoke.
He can hold his own with a lot of great singers and match their range; some even stop singing and gave him the "Oh wow- he's really good!" look during their carpool session. That's impressive even with his musical background. One of my goals is to sing half as good as James Corden
I Think Lower Notes Are Harder Than High Notes For Me Because I Can Reach Some Good High Notes F4 F#4 And G4 And G#4 And I Done A Strained A4 Before I Can Only Reach C#3 On Low Notes😂😂
dude it was mixed til D5, after that it was pure head voice, after A4 pure mixed as you can still note his coloratura, that's a mix voice characteristic
PetroleumJellay You can count falsetto. Without falsetto most singers would have only 2-3 octaves. I think you can count chest, head voice and falsetto and even whistle register as long as you can control it. Though I wouldn't count fry as vocal range because unlike those 4 registers that I listed, fry is so easy that everyone can go to first octave using it.
Quick question, I thought the notes that are stained don't count in your range. for example, I can hit f#5 comfortably and g#5 on a good day. a6 is always a huge strain but I can hit if for very short periods. but I never count that in my range, should I?
I know this vid is about James but let’s look at the ease Demi has developed. She belts F5s and even higher notes without a single expression and without even closing her eyes! That deserves some mad respect
Most of his 5th notes are HEAD VOICE and not falsetto. He belts a C#5 in Alive, but the rest of his highs are in head or maybe an EXTREMELY head-dominant mix, but the high Ab in Hello is falsetto.
Bob Lucas Well yeah, that's actually a good question. When talking about male voice, falsetto is a register, where the vocal chords don't touch each other properly. Falsetto is literally the Mickey Mouse -voice, kind of airy and breathy, yet very agile. It's used often for complex runs and riffs (and usually sung like 'woo' because the oo vowel is easy to use in falsetto). Falsetto can be heard for ex. in Bee Gees' "Stayin' Alive" or in the song "The Lion Sleeps Tonight". Headvoice, on the other hand, is a connected register. That means that you can kind of slide that down to chest voice (you're speaking voice) without breaking. Headvoice sounds kind of whiny and bratty, and it can go really high, but not as high as falsetto. Artists that use headvoice often include The Weeknd, Sam Smith, Adam Levine, Jason Derulo etc. There are many good videos on youtube that explain this as well. I'd recommend the channel "New York vocal coaching" if you wanna learn more. And the reason I said 'this is true for male voices' is because the term females' falsetto is often used interchangeably with females' headvoice. But male falsetto is completely different from male headvoice!
