this is just me guessing, cuz we really got no public information, but i think Brave and the Bold is probably further along then everyone thinks. if they already have a Teen Titans writer, i’m assuming they’re getting close to finishing the Batman script

I dont think we have ever had a jlu type lex on the big screen before. Lex is so important to superman. He is the arch nemesis to superman the same way joker is to batman. You also have to consider the fact the lex is so smart he could become the mastermind that pulls the strings throughout the dcu

He could be such an important villain in the dcu the way that a character like joker can never be. You could get president lex that has policies that impact the heros. He could make his own supervillan team ect

You also have to consider that this is the first superman movie in the dcu. So the main villain can't be too obscure. But then you have alot of iconic superman villains that aren't great for a first movie braniac and doomsday for example

Well his a creating a 8 to 10 years story so no matter who the villain is it’s going to be a good one in the dcu story and not a stand alone movie so I’m up for it!

Lex should always be in a Superman film as his arch nemesis, but I think for the first DCU Superman film I actually the main villain should be somebody like Despero, Maxima, or Toyman.

Who was asking for a Booster Gold Show? Is he still in the comics? I loved Stargirl to the max but a third string character is a struggle to have a hit show. Green Arrow was second string but had decades of exposure and had a nice run supporting in Smallville. The Neal Adam's run is considered iconic, Hawkeye is a popular knockoff. He was prominent in the JLA cartoons.Everyone would recognize the character even among the non fan boy population. So it was a hit show. ,Madam Webb was a flop..even if it had been a better movie.

If they are serious about this new universe then it is important to create a strong foundation. The Superman vs Lex Luthor dynamic needs to be established correctly. Ultra man is not important to Superman, he is just one of many villains.

I love the idea of having multiple villains in Superman!!!! Because remember in the movie Batman v. Superman Lex created doomsday at the end of movie with the epic death of Superman!!!!! That I think is James Gunn’s plan!!! Lex creating villains and heroes including Supergirl to his binning to destroy Superman leading into the epic battle between Superman and Lex!!!

I think the Ultraman clone will still be in the movie because Gunn didn’t specifically debunk it. He just said Lex is the main villain so Ultraman can still be a part of the story. I’m actually glad he confirmed Lex is the main antagonist because the character still hasn’t reached his full potential in the movies

Nah no Damian Wayne’s teen titans Tim Drake all the way the Superman movie has hint that Conner Kent could be in this movie because of the cloning process if we’re getting bizzaro/ultra an clone of Superman add in Conner Kent plz and don’t make him gay
