Frankly he never speaks. He is socially awkward. I don't mean that in a bad way. That really has little to do with Corgan himself beyond the fact that WPC seems to enjoy speaking and James is the opposite so it stands to reason if you put the two together you are gonna get a bunch of Corgan talking. I've seen interviews with them all together and they are more than happy to let Corgan do the talking. He doesn't impose silence on them by his speaking tho. James clearly doesn't ever want to talk.

Im a huge fan of Corgan artistry and I think he's a really smart and well spoken guy. But you're right, he grabs all the airplay in interviews

As are many of the greatest musicians, for some reason. Glad he's clean and D'Arcy too. I love SP's music but probably would only get along with Billy IRL, nowadays.

@@ocd000 I think it’s that artists tend to be very sensitive, and opiates kind of dull the intensity of the world (speaking as a former addict myself)

@@taffysaur I think it's definitely more projected inwards. It's a selfish habit for most people. We continue to do it because of our inability to cope with normal everyday human interactions.

Heroin actually doesn't age you. It's the other drugs they take that affect your physical appearance.

Hahaha! 🤣I came here to comment about the Gator golf. I’m assuming maybe it belongs to one of James kids.

Jimmy rejoined the band in 1999 to record Machina. After that, Billy broke up SP and formed a new band called Zwan. Jimmy also played with them. Then, in 2006, Billy reformed the SP name, and Jimmy once again played on the new album Zeitgeist. They had a strong relationship for many years, but had a falling out in 2009. But, Jimmy once again came back around 2015, and has been officially in SP since 2017. Its a complicated story lol. But if you havent heard any of those previous records i mentioned, i highly recommend them, they are all great.

Jimmy has been officially in the band since 2017 (same with James). The album they released in 2018 wasnt that good imo, but they have a new one set to come out in a few months.

@@thebluethunderbunny2324 Yeah, i dont know if they're best buds or anything, but they seem to have been able to put aside their differences and be professional. I saw them live in 2018 and it was the best show ive seen in years, they were tighter than ever.

@@TheAlibabatree That's super dope. The story of the Smashing Pumpkins is sad. Seeing them get old is depressing and reminds me of my own mortality. I'm glad they were able to work things out. Life is too short.

Jimmy was brought on as a drummer for a tour in 2015. When the next tour came, Jimmy was the touring drummer. During that tour, James was invited on stage. After the tour, Jimmy was brought back as a full member, as was James. It's great to have the Pumpkins back and making great music again.

I think this is old. They are talking about the reunion and they had a festival coming up. But all of that is cancelled now.

@@horrifyingcat Just as an example, in politics he hates all sides. Billy Corgan thinks the Republican and Democrat parties are equally terrible and won't pick a side. It's like he hates everything, sometimes you just have to ignore him when he talks. Depends on what mood he's in. Sometimes he comes off as a great guy, sometimes he's full of hot air.

Will never understand how people let an artists opinions ruin their music for them..
