I had the pleasure to work with James in the 1990’s. One of the purest natural singers. A very underrated singer that came in the music industry at the right time under the the great Quincy Jones. Btw…James has a brother that was with the group “Switch” that played the guitar.😉

Original was with James Ingram and Patti Austin. Patti Austin is no joke vocally too. Loved this song when it came out with those two back in the day. James/Patti had another duet that was a larger hit “on the charts “Baby Come to Me”. James younger brother Phillip was in Switch (best group ever). I just watched your reaction to them. James Ingram died a couple of years back. He was under appreciated though he had hits with “Just Once”, “Find 100 Ways”. He sang on “We Are The World”. He sang on “American Tale” cartoon a duet with Linda Ronstad “Somewhere Out There”. You guys pick artists that I really appreciated growing up. I don’t normally comment on peoples videos but your choices take me back (ie Phyllis Hyman, Minnie Ripperton, Switch and now James Ingram).

Mr. James Ingram is another one of those great lead vocalists that sometimes gets overlook! This brother could sang with the best of them! He started making that movie soundtrack money and was extremely successful!!

Thank you for this reaction. James Ingram has yet to really be discovered or appreciated by youtube reactors, and frankly, he is phenomenally talented. I was a teenager during his biggest period, so this is the last type of music you'd expect me to have listened to, but he was hypnotizing. Thanks again.
