Even though there's only one Michael Coleman ,this version is still very nice and true to form

I remember those Michael Coleman reels. I also heard Andy McGann doing them.

Very nice, but in all honesty, Jean Carignan’s version is from another world.

. . . and also worth returning to Carignan's source: Michael Coleman

Jean Carignan harnessed his tunes as a unit of music with his extraordinary technique of continuity. In other words, he would seize the melody of the tune. Also, he had unsurpassed pizzicato as evidenced in his playing of Devil's Dream written by Fortunat Malouin (1870-1935). With all the special effects that he could take out of the instrument, it was like a toy to him. From what I gather, while growing up I don't think he played with trains...😑
