This was a great tour for this 84-88 alumnus. So much has changed since those days and I am proud to see how far JMU has come and happy to see you young students experiencing it for yourselves. I have been back recently and managed to get a tour of the Urec building. It is so strange to see the whole east campus sitting where we used to hike when it was all woods. Also the amount of construction out Port Republic road with the newer soccer and track facilities and the newer Rockingham hospital is impressive.
I left jmu in 2014 it’s crazy how many new buildings are on campus, I need to come back to visit and try all the new food places haha I hope you guys get to go back soon it was the best four years of my life!
I go to EMU right near James Madison but I've been to the rose library. It's cool to see these spots on your campus and remember visiting there. haha cool
omg that’s so fun!! personally, i was also interested with business and wanted a minor in some aspect of it and with architectural design, it’s a BFA (bachelor of fine arts) and i wasn’t able to get a minor in business so i switched to marketing! good luck and let me know if i can help you with anything!!
@@kassideebarr4110 they get a residents pass if they want it, still costs money, it's pretty shit and overall not worth it, also do not live on campus after freshman year
it honestly seems big when you first get there and you’re learning your way around but it’s super simple once you learn the layout! i also used my gps on my phone when walking to class the first semester!
