If you haven't fallen in love with him already: Run. Run as fast as you can. If you keep watching, you'll become one of us. You won't be able to think about anything but him. Now go. Save yourself...
Twenty One Stephanies i didn't see this comment in time. it's already too late for me. i am one of you now, friend. i'm suffering in the best way possible.
I think he is so underrated, love to watch him act, wish he was in more and bigger roles. He seems like a very kind and down to earth person as well, and yeah, that accent...sigh.
He had played a lot of big roles in the past. He's also often casted in huge movies, because he's that much of a great actor. He's been in countless films too. So imho, I don't think he's actually underrated. He's not part of the mainstream actors because he chooses to live his life simply. He doesn't seek for attention and pretty much just stays down low, if you know what I mean.
You should watch filth then. It's...raunchy, to say the least, and he's a misanthrope in the movie, but shirley Henderson (aka moaning myrtle) is in it too, and it's probably my ABSOLUTELY FAVORITE movie
And I love the fact he used to wear his kilt for everyday things, my family originate from Scotland but I was born in England, I have a family tartan and I have a kilt of my own (even though I'm a girl and my parents told me that its the men who wear them), it's nice to see people taking pride in their country.
ConfettiRockSaltAndRainbowDrops They make kilts for girls too, they are much shorter and really sexy, but girls usually wear them at the dancing or parties.
***** You should hear how he really speaks, i know coz i'm from the same city. You would not understand a single word even though he is speaking English.
When he was saying that the x men are better than the avengers, i was like "its the truth... its the truth..." then he's like *touches head* "i could just go like 'sit down,' and theyd all sit down, id be like 'have a cup of tea,' theyd all be having a cup of tea, i could be like 'take your clothes off,' and theyd all be taking their clothes off." LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
'He said you're a horrible person.' 'Yeah, but he lies...' This has got to be one of the infinite reasons why people love James McAvoy! And the Scottish accent! Now I can die in peace...😍
I think he sang it in such a way that sounds a bit like "Remember Cesar!" from Jesus' trial in Jesus Christ Superstar. Cuba may be a reference to X-Men First Class where they avoid a violent end to the Cuban missile crisis.
"I've never seen anybody wear a kilt to school. But, like, we wear kilts to weddings and things like that." "Only to formal events?" "Kind of, or alcohol, drug-fueled events." Those 3 sentences...there you have it, people. James is officially one of the funniest men on the planet. His best mate is certainly no slouch in that department, either. Thumbs up if you'd like to see him & Michael do a comedy tour and/or special when their run in "X-Men" is over.
2:48 - ( about charles Xavier using his powers on the Avengers)"I'd be like have a cup of tea, and they'd have a cup of tea. I' d be like take your clothes off, and they'd all be taking their clothes off"... thats why we have fanart.
I have watched this twice now and plan on watching it more. I've fallen under the spell of his luring attitude and charming accent and it's too late to go back. Dear God help me.
I remember seeing him while I was getting in my car once. He was in training gear (shorts and a vest top) and he was all sweaty and everything was in slow motion. Such a perfect man.
James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender play off each other so well and they're hilarious together, those interviews they were both in so fucking funny lmao.
James McAvoy is a brilliant actor. I think the best film I've ever seen him in, although it was only a voice only role was the 2004 animated film Strings. I also liked him in Starter for 10, Wanted, Gnomeo and Juliet and X-Men: Days of Future Past. I think he'd make a good Doctor Who. He was rumoured to play the 11th Doctor, when Matt Smith was officially cast. I hope one day he will be The Doctor - he will be great.
Oh my god, Yes, Yes, Yes!. He needs to be cast as the next Doctor after Peter Capaldi. But the question is, will we have two Scottish Doctors in a row, or will he use his delectable English accent?
everyone in love with the scottish accent here,i guess having it myself,i can feel good about that, don't quite have the james mcavoy coating that goes along with it however lol.
when i was going through my james mcavoy phase i would watch this at least 3 times a day and now im back in the phase im watching this, getting nostalgic and falling in love with him all over again
