I just saw the play twice and cant wait to see it on cinema again because it was so beautiful, breathtaking and funny! James, you always have my heart, i love you so much.
@@darlenesleeth-poirier1997 Yeah, not at all compared with the original Cyrano, who was...way!! more witty and non-sexual. It’s not that a sexual play is bad, but that’s not part of Cyrano. One of the characteristics of Cyrano, is that he never talks about sex.
I saw this in the cinema and plan on seeing it in person when it goes to NYC. I absolutely loved the performances although the story is pretty sad. I love James McAvoy! To meet him and actually have a conversation with him would be an all time amazing dream come true.
I´ve seen this spectacular performance once - only. Unfortunately. Because of the pandemic. Any chance to send it to cinemas in Europe again in late 2021???....
BBC could do a great fundraiser by putting this and Coriolanus on pay-per-view streaming in the USA, I would love to see some of the UK's great actors on stage.
Does anyone know if it is still available to see online? I'm in mainland Europe and can't just hop off to England to check it out in a cinema there. There must be a DVD of it or so.. no?
Hello😊 I'm in Namibia. In Africa. Is there anyway I can watch this ? Do you guys sell it perhaps as a Dvd? I'm a huge fan of theatre but couldn't go see it live.
Roxanne incredibly intelligent ? She doesn't fancy him because of his looks ! Maybe James missed that . ? Along with 90 % of Rostand's brilliance. No nose either . It's only the words that matter ?! What's next ? A teenage King Lear ? A white Othello ? Don't you just love it when actors begin spouting what their director has told them ? It's almost as though they can't think for themselves ....
