@@sirsnipermonkey A few points: 1) The Oslo accords ended because Rabin (Israel’s PM and co-signatory to Oslo) was murdered by a right-wing Israeli from the settler movement. Prior to that Benjamin Netanyahu had implicitly threatened and boasted that anyone’s personal security could be breached. 2) Following Rabin’s assassination no Israeli PM would countenance either the right of return of Palestinian refugees (guaranteed under international law) or a contiguous Palestinian state. Nor could they have their airport or water and electricity resources and ALL of their borders would be controlled by Israel. See Daniel Levy’s account for reference. 3) All of the above and continued settlement expansion killed Oslo and sparked the second intifada. 4) Fatah are named in the Oslo agreement as the only representatives of the Palestinian people. Not Hamas. 5) As mentioned, in 2016 Hamas ratified their charter to accept a two state solution. Likud and most Israelis don’t accept a two state solution. 6) Bibi has formerly presented his maps of “greater Israel” at the UN. Israel has no excuse! None! It is a man pretending it’s happy to share the pie while eating it all at the same time.

They explain different methods to sway people, gain points, make it seem like they have a point, etc. Actually the one I read explained to use the argument that "Israel is not perfect, just like no other country is" and to say that Israel is held to a different standard than other countries. Actually if you read it you will start to see the same talking points used everywhere.

And an Israeli government who can not end the conflict because the end of the war will bring down the government and see them imprisoned within their own country because of the war crimes committed in their name and with their acquiescence.

Gaza had 'Food, water, medical supplies, and chemicals for water treatment plants' before the war. The UK would never supplied its enemies with such basics during wartime. Why should Israel? Why didn't Egypt across its border with Gaza?
