That kit is suffering a case of the St. Angers lol. Hasn't Lars proved to everyone that only Danny Carey can turn his snares off?
@louevil555
@louevil555 10 лет назад
Im sure you noticed that he has two snares drums. Anyways, imo, the one with the snares turned off delivers a much tighter sound that is suited for blasting in this song but I usually prefer snares on obviously. Regardless, Lars knows nothing about blasting.

you don't even need swivel, straight ankle motion, i found a way to cut some of the stress i inflict to my ankles by moving my knees/thighs while playing while keeping my feet perfectly straight, made me able to go from 220 to 240 instantly !

@richerlecool
@richerlecool 4 года назад
At the beginning I think the guitars play a riff in triplets while he's doing 16th notes on the bass drum so it sounds weirdly out of sync, so there could be that

"Blackened deathcore"? O.o Meh. I'm just putting it down as blackened death. I don't really hear the core influence. Although tbh I think a lot of technical deathcore bands are in a fuzzy area that overlaps with just plain tech death.

I see where you're coming from, but same technique =/= ripping off, or else a large portion of extreme metal drumming would be subject to plagiarism.

Paul Daluz I agree. he is an awesome player, but I don't like people who rely on the snare being tune way too high just to play blast beats.
@EviLLivEClan
@EviLLivEClan 8 лет назад
Alejandro De Anda It's just for emphasizing and so you can hear it better. He isn't relying on anything. He has to produce the movement of his body which makes the sound. The only thing he is relying on is his own tempo, techniques and skills.
@suprchompas
@suprchompas 8 лет назад
EviLLivE Gaming you might be right. there are some people who like their Sanre really thigh (Chris Adler for example). I acknowledge this dude's amazing talent (he would kick my assignment anytime). it's just that there are a lot of people who rely on tension of the head to play super fast. and that I don't like.
