Why a feedback buster on the Maton in the studio? Makes the guitar sound crap and thin. We use feedback busters playing live with a lot of volume, never use them recording in a studio. So weird, and the sounds suffers for it here big time.

@davidbattaglene6873 it's got nothing to do with the man, it's the sound.I'm a professional sound engineer and guitarist, and whoever recorded the guitar did a poor job. RU-vid some of James' other live studio performances done properly, and then go back and listen to this one. I've actually had the pleasure of working with the man, so I might know a thing or two about it.
