Maybe one day Joe could be given a job in the back room team like a selector would be a good influence around young players

A daft auld game, when ye thing about it, only 4 weeks ago, we were tipped to be Limerick's main threat, FF 4 weeks, we're out, looking for a new manager and several new players...! Retirements submitted, more expected and demanded...LOL" Joe owes us nathin, he carried that team for at least 10 years, and average they were at times too...!

Manager is poor lets face it and his team selection and tactics lost us the match. Time for a new manager please.

@@sineadmcl1985 If rumours were to be believed davey was close to getting it?he will throw his hat in the ring at Dublin and galway.I hope galway don't go down this road. Best of luck to Joe an unbelievable hurler we were lucky to see in the flesh.We will be telling people stories for years about him. Would mattie kenny be a possible candidate for the job? Hard to believe after a decent league such a shocking championship.Unfortunately this team will break up.david Burke maybe aidan harte and a few others.Fringe players like niall Burke could also be cleared out.Cork cleared out a few and went with youth Waterford Done the same.its a young man's game now.Lads like callanan and tj the last day aren't as influential it's all running from deep pop pass off the shoulder
@sineadmcl1985
@sineadmcl1985 3 года назад
@@lefthandontop426 I think your right. This is just the start of it - Harte, Burke and maybe Mcinerney on the way out. I would be shocked if Callanan didnt retire this year. TJ probably has another season or 2 in him. We need a good Galway man to manage this team. I think we are now a team in transition, we are going to have to ride out the next few years to blood new players. Unfortunately its the end of an era for this team.

For all the slating shane o neill is getting, let's not forget Michael donoghue wasn't perfect either, won all lreland fair enough all be it against a average Waterford in the final.

Won an All Ireland against a team Galway had never beaten in the championship. O Neill just out of his depth as the Dublin and Waterford matches showed.

That was a good waterford team,plus,up to then played 10 and lost 10 against them.We also won the league and leinster titles. Hard to know who would step up to the job,not Shane o Neil's fault but he is in over his head.

Thats a bit harsh.I think that Anthony cunningham done alot of the donkey work and first brought a young conor whelan on the scene. I think management this year were trying to be too clever swapping 3 and 6 and Loftus and toughy in the forwards at times.i know he wanted his stamp on things but just thought they over thought it
