Big fan of Strang!

I'm an atheist. And I'm gay. But I've always felt very sad reading/hearing about the vicious persecutions of the Mormons. Those Illinois people would definitely have shot me too, along with a significant portion of the contemporary population of the United States, who are LGBTQ and polyamorous. Whatever the Mormons might think about me, I'm glad they're finally able to live in relative peace (more or less).

But Strangar was a con man : interesting to find out how so many people were so gullible and why the con man colture is so widespread in our beloved country

I was looking for videos about mormon history, and yours came up. And I thank you for your work, with only one complain about the thing that is really makes listening difficult. That constant eee or emmmm sounds. And I wouldn't mention that if you were caught and interviewed without a warning, but it seems like you are into making videos for some time, so speaking is something that you are professionally involved in. Please, please, work a little bit on that part. It is a small thing, but it could tremendously improve it all together.

This guy Strang was a TRUE disciple of Old Joe.

He's right up there with Jim Jones, David koresh, Sun Yung Moon and Marshal Applewhite.

Seems like a bit of a whitewashed, cleaned up/apologetic version of this guys life. There are so many crazy things about this guys history that seem worth at least a mention. Kinda weird not to even address that stuff. It's fine, I'd just recommend to anyone interested in this guys life to check out some other sources. The story of this guy's life is amazing. but some of the most amazing things about Strang's life are very unflattering and those were almost completely left out of this video which is over an hour long. There are much shorter videos which are much more informative. Not that I didn't appreciate this video though. Learned a lot about L.D.S. History. Thank you!

I would love to connect with the descendants of King Strang. My ancestors adopted Strang into the beaver clan and made him King and chief of the Beaver Island according to oral tradition and supported by the Song of Hiawatha.

1 Zion, Illinois. 2 In the east there was Caesaro-Papism, but not theocracy. 3 There was scarcely anything resembling theocracy in the West, not even Calvin's Geneva. 4 Muenster under John of Lyden could be called a theocracy, but it was very short-lived. I was destroyed by orthodox Christians.

The plates look like a six year old did them. Ironic that Mormons found the only two sets of ancient records of people's that we now know never existed. It took me a long time to come to believe in God and l am still skeptical of Christianity because of the behavior of a "God fearing" people over the years. This is a scam the whole thing top to bottom is a big scam. One need only go to a library to find ancient text and etch them into cheap metal.
