Think I would play Bellingham and RIce in the defensive midfield and then pop Alexander-Arnold on 2nd half. This gives Foden his proper no.10 position and it eases Trent into the position more. I don't think he had a bad performance at all. I think he made one serious mistake and also did leave Rice with a higher general workload, but for his first tournament DM performance it was OK.
Oh dear, England tired after 1 game, Kobie tired too, but don't worry, we got Trent, best passer ever in world footy, we got Foden, plays on left, right, comes inside, tucks in, sometimes gets on other side of pitch, amazing, a 50 meter distance, Kane makes wonderful passes, ta, Jamie, really informative
Maybe sombody should tell them that the opponent's goal is the one on the other side !? I have absolutely no idea why they keep playing infront of their own penalty area and why they constantly play back to their own goalkeeper allthough they already are infront of the opponents penalty area ! It just drives me crazy and it's is painful to watch ! Why not at least take an attempt to score a goal, instead of playing all the way back to Pickford ?
