As a guitarist addicted to guitar music: this is one of the most beautiful pieces in of music I’ve ever heard, that piano solo with that power of the orchestra at the end is absolutely mesmerizing🙌🙌
I've never felt music like this. I've been thinking for about 15 minutes now how to describe this but I just can't. The pureness of soul, feel and emotion going into this, is why they invented the number 'infinite'. Something that can neither be explained.
People that dislike videos on youtube just to be different....you are bloody fools! If you can listen to this and honestly tell me you dislike it, then IMO you are either tone deaf, or just so ignorant to what the actual nature of music is. Cullum transcends the intellect and hits you straight in the emotional core. You talented SOB
El lenguaje universal que hace erizar la piel. Es un fuera de serie este muchacho, y su repertorio me resulta irresistible. Solo esta interpretación es digna de un cierre, apaguen las luces, no hay nada más que hablar.
1:36 This facial expression...!!! :-) :-) What kind of feeling might this be? You are playing your very own concert, everybody listens how you are lost in playing your solo part... and then, the orchestra starts and crowns it all....!!! Soo great!!! I could watch/listen to it over and over again!!! :-)
People who dislike this video are ignorants, seriously deaf and heartless. Every now and then I stop by this wonderful arragement and it always brings me to tears...
I stop in my tracks every time I hear this song. Some of the most beautiful piano sounds I have ever heard. He is one of the most talented young musicians out there.
what a brilliant young man, and what a beautiful performer.. he can definitely touch my heart strings and I'm old school, where you were taught to keep a stiff upper lip.. but this mans emotional content in his performance brings tears to my eyes, as he reminds me of my father who was taken too soon, when I was thirteen...And was a classical trained pianist... And the best I ever saw.. not just because he was my father, but because he was the finest pianist I ever saw.. his name was John Marrison....!x
I think this might be one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, the lyrics alone are so powerful and to add Jamie's voice + the orchestra is just magic
Is it you in the picture, Laura? Cause you are so beautiful! If I ruled the world I would chop off the planet's mass that lingers between and separates us... and stuck it back together so I would be close enough to ask you out nad hopefully make you laugh. :D
Such a refreshingly radiant young talent - and the lyrics here are empowering to the soul-- Thanks Jamie for giving us your take on these classic tunes.
I love your comment, this is exactly what I think about him, his music, and how I feel it in my life since his first album. Thank you for writing this. You are certainly a nice person. Take care of you
Jamie's band is fantastic as well. Don't forget them. He has an orchestra with him here but I saw him in concert and he brought the band out into the crowd and sang about 4 songs. 4 man crew - it was awesome
I was at the Proms watching this. It was gorgeous. I’m not a massive fan of Cullum but this is a beautiful interpretation of the song... he made it very sad. Which I like.
Ethereal, heartfelt and such a beautiful re-working. I’m familiar with Harry’s version but this felt like I was hearing If I Ruled The World for the first time.
Omg.... AMAZING! This is great work. I trembled 5 times at least ) THANK YOU, JAMIE! I'm with you and your creativity almost 6 years, and this inspires me a lot )
