lol the zip ties in his flip chip bolts. I run the same on my Slash (they have fallen out on the trail before) , the shop said they have seen that multiple times too.
You spend big $$$ on these bikes and have to keep it together with zip ties. The sole reason I got away from Trek. It's a shame because their bikes do work.

In terms of the ‘feel’ or ‘ride feel’, taking speed out the equation, do you prefer the trek slash in mullet or full 29, if the racing speed part wasn’t part of the aspect etc?
wondering how he has 54 poe on that hub while my slash 8 rear wheel has 108 poe after warranty replacement but i guess personal preference or just they dont make his favorite hub in 108?
@@andremtb480 I have! They don’t exist in 35mm length, only 40mm is the shortest they make. If you have a link to one that would be great, but I’m guessing athlete only/prototype here…
@@chris_winn ah dang you're right. The one I have is 40mm as well. Such a great stem too. Also agree 35mm is the right length for a Slash. I'm just sticking with the stock Bontrager though.
