People have no true idea what he's gone & is still going through. The struggle to walk again, issues with memory & impulse control. I am SO PROUD of what he's done but even moreso of his family who kept him safe during his recovery. Truly heartwarming!

I wasn’t expecting a full and *amazing* stand up routine accompanying an incredibly touching speech! Jamie Foxx is such an extraordinary talent, light, and brilliance. We are all so very lucky to still have him here.

White as I am, I genuinely prayed for him because he really is an amazing talent, I don't know him as a person, but I WAS genuinely shocked to hear he was in such trouble whether this can happen to me or not, which of course it can....Jamie, I'm SO glad you are able to collect this award yourself....I would Ike it if you'd stop making those annoying computer adverts with your daughter but I'm so very glad you were surrounded by loved ones that protected you when you needed it most...I feel honoured to be able to see this acceptance speech BY the person it is awarded to....bless you and your family and loved ones., always...😊 🎉...edit, my son at 44 years old passed away this year....i was so blessed to have him AND more importantly, be loved by him. Many prayers have been answered! I wanted to run around the room, and I'm normally a shouter. God has been good and gracious to leave Jamie here with us longer so we could honor him and receive more of his talents. The comedian in him is still popping! I hope the singer in him gives me just one hymn one day (I do not even care which one) and hope to see him in movies in his own time even if just a cameo. Thank you for honoring him Critics Choice!
