@@TomJG23 The day Jamie Oliver actually willingly asks Uncle Roger to sponsor his food is the day Jamie Oliver makes peace with Uncle Roger which is less likely than the end of world conflict and hunger. Are you new to the channel? Haiyaaaa...
I dont think he will fire them... it would be very petty of Jaimey. He was just a guest, did not said or do anything wrong. If Uncle Roger do anything wrong, they really risk their job. But I dont think Uncle Roger is that evil. So ordered the "easiest" pizza.
Uncle Roger has a big heart. In short, he is supporting the restaurant because the workers are good hard working people from his native country. His visit will probably boost the number of customers and support the local economy.
Indeed! And, to be fair, Jamie doesn't cook there, the local cooks shouldn't be blamed for the owner of their company, who doesn't have anything to do with actually running the restaurant.
I ate here 2months ago.. its in Malaysia's KLIA International Airport.. the food were surprisingly good.. the staffs were friendly and attentive too.. we enjoyed our food there.. ♥️♥️
It might be good, but it doesn't look much like a margherita. Too much sauce and cheese. The crust looks like it was cooked right, but what's it taste like?
A Malaysian comedian rating Italian cuisine made by Malaysian staff in a restaurant owned by a British man. He has stolen my dreams and my childhood with his empty words.
They're his recipes and as far as I know he has his crew come in and train the staff who open the restaurant, so the chefs and cooks are cooking the way Jamie intends
To be fair Uncle did the cooking here and not Jamie. He was basically complimenting himself and the chefs for providing a 30 thousand dollar oven and some ingredients 😂
@@silla-je9od theres once BBC new come to malaysia to provoke people there to start propaganda, then immedietly malaysia government kick their ass out.malaysia just dont want anything weird stuff come from other country i think, since the country itself populate with diferent race.
This is exactly why i hate such branding restaurant The credits goes to the staff cooking, but yet due to the Jamie Oliver name, they'll get no recognision.
Depends on what you call western, he butchered Jamaican food and even claimed he invented a Jamaican drink recipe and renamed it to hope no one noticed (Guinness punch was "reinvented" as Jamie's Guinness cocktail/the paddy mcguinness), for context it's basically the Jamaican equivalent of him claiming to have invented the lassi and renaming it. I genuinely despise the way he treats cultures that aren't his own.
I lived in Malaysia for 10 years and all i can say about Malaysia's food is very good like really good. If anyone has the chance to eat malaysian food take it!
I agree but never been to Malaysia. I’ve had Malaysian food in the US a few times and it’s amazing. It’s like a mix of East Asian and south Asian and some foreign (Arab, European, etc).
SAME. Also live in Malaysia the food is great but ppl always go to the popular restaurants and not like the kopitiams there I think I spelled that right
@@jackwhitbread4583He grew up in Malaysia and only after graduating from secondary school, he went overseas for his tertiary education and job. I've watched an interview he did with a Malaysian host. Uncle Roger spoke with his original Malaysian accent.
I just did a research of this restaurant and it's actually at a airport. So, as a Malaysian. I can go to that airport and eat there if we're going on a holiday. Well, the airport is called Kuala Lumpur International Airport also known as KLIA. Gosh, I got so many memories being there for going on a holiday. But last year during the pandemic, I'll missed KLIA.
@@abcron3788 Yeah, it's far. If the restaurant got like bunch of branches nearer, that would be nice. So, they don't need drive that far just to eat at a restaurant.
You mean his restaurant managers hire people who do Italian well. Jamie is a horrible cook who commits hate crimes every time he tries to make foreign food.
@@Pro_Butcher_Amateur_Human I would also question the 'not super expensive' part - after a Margarita pizza is as simple as it gets and you can often get a decent one at an actual pizza place for much less.
