not into snowboarding but still listen to the bombhole cause i like the hosts-- but to see jamie on here-- stokes me watched it once and listened to it twice! good job fellas
Ive always love Chiefs words & interviews, i somewhat take some of his life experiences as a guide as i get much older.. fan since day one, even got a zero tattoo..
This was amazing. I'm a skateboarder and a Thomas fan and that's why I came here. Now I just wanna go snowboard and watch more snowboarding podcasts lol
heater episode! love the skater crossover. also, ive been eyeing a huck knife for months and finally got one this weekend so if it helps, ill say it was solely based on the saloman ad on bombhole. get that bisc, grendies
Gotta throw some theory skateshop stickers in spots grendys and some more change that tape ones. Haha. Great podcast tho. Glad you guys started this. Keep it 💯
I love the cold weather, put on two or three hoodies and a jersey or something and lets go out there. Its fun wearing sizes two or three sizes up for layers.
Incredible episode buds and gren. Such an influential guy. Personally Jamie’s ig tre flip has so much power and grace and along with his misled youth days and career it’s what makes me a life long fan . He continues to have such an unbeatable style and at 40 plus its inspiring to not lose any swagger. If that makes sense Hhah
Damn i wish theyd ask him what happened to his podcast! Love how chris was throwing in jokes and called him a psycho 😂 no one gets special treatment at the bh as it should be
Jamie came through chair 6 at mammoth when I was working as a lifty and I knew it was him immediately with that mustache and blaze Orange Zero skull hoody. Awesome dude
Not gonna lie and ABSOLUTELY no hate.....but for most of this interview I kept forgetting Buds and Diesel were even a part of it. Thomas is 100% one of the GOATs
@@bisco042 all good kenny, thanks. and a 100% agree with you about the interview, jamie killed it, to short thou (: G.O.A.T = Greatest Of All Time. can only be one goat, i hear you thou. don`t wanna be an a-hole , can`t help it. all the best man!!
@The Bomb Hole And yes, I do relate to Jamie Thomas, he’s a very deep human. He’s very sensitive and appears to be very vulnerable and yet at the same time seems compelled to shear issues that bothered him, which is not easy for most people to do. Heavy stuff man, he’s always a cool person to interview as you can learn somethings from him that could help your ego.....😜
I am a Nine Club member, Hawk vs Wolf viewer, skater etc... Love this show though. Watched about 3-4 now and I enjoyed every one. Subscribed now. Any quick story, I saw the Toy Machine demo away back when Jamie was on., 90's Talking Steamer and Brian Anderson was there as AMs! Nobody even knew of them. Satva Leung, I think Barley too. Ed! Was so fkn cool. Anyway I was a kid so I'm just extremely excited and I ask Jamie to sign my Wife Beater. Jamie says no problem as he signs he says "Are you proud to call it that?" And I wasn't at all. I mean my mom and bro and I were repeatedly abused so idk why I even thought to call it that. I guess to normalize the violence and deflect with comedy? Anyway it really changed me. Made me think about all kinds a shit and change. I've asked Jamie about this moment and he did remember right away so even more emotional for me, ya know? Just figured with all that Slap thread drama I'd say my own positive encounter. Not for nothing but all the skaters I've met have been super fkn cool to us. Danforth, Hosoi, Hawk, Dill, Bam, Tim O'Connor, Valley, Simon Woodstock, Ron Allen. Professor Schmidt. Those are ones I remember for sure and were nice to us.
And fuuuccckkk...you got Thomas on while he's staying at JJs and we haven't got JJ yet?!?! We need him in and we've heard everyone's story that was there for the slide...would love to hear Jeremy's view of that slide...if he's open to talk about it.
Dude I’m 37 I remember at a zero Jamie yelled at me yo grab my water and I did and he gave me shirt. All I skated was zero I got pics to prove it Jamie I’m a forever fan homie your faith really helped me stay righteous bro!!!
&The Bomb Hole , Dam sounds like he had it hard, lucky he wasn’t a Snowboarder living London with no mountains of snow. And having to travel to Big Bear to hook with Bert LaMar or Craig Kelly in Europe, but if you have a dream some times you have to travel real far all on your own just to taste it. Never think of the future too much try living for the moment some times, it stops you from getting distracted from your goal.💯🤙😎
I don't care if Chris Cole skates on Mars and doesn't talk to anybody at Zero for 20 years. He still belongs on that company and is the only board brand where he fits. Plan B and all that just felt out of place. Even when he was in the prime years of Street League he still felt like a Zero guy. And Jamie Thomas....first ballot hall of famer right there. To this day I feel like he doesn't get the credit he deserves.
