Jamming to Mr Moon by Jamiroquai. I removed previous bass cover of this song because of its poor quality. Hope you like this one. Thanks for watching! My Patreon: / juliaplaysgroove IG: / juliaplaysgroove_official
PERFECT! I once met Jay Kay, a bit drunk, and told him I was a huge fan. He asked: what’s your favorite song of mine, to which I replied MR MOON. He sang me a glorious, drunk version there on the spot! 🤓
I'm a 60 year old guy and listening to this young woman perform brings tears to my eyes. Julia, thru her bass, just becomes part of the music. There are a lot of good bass players out there but not many have the gift/feel of letting the music flow out thru them and in to their playing. You can't teach that. I listen to songs on this channel that Julia has covered(covered almost sounds like an insult), that I other wise would not listen to just to hear her magic.
Davey who? This young lady simply tears it up, and then moves on. No meme jokes or attempts at humor. All killer and no filler. The bass says it all. Much respect.
Probably the single best Jamiroquai bass cover I've heard. You could EASILY have stood in for Zender back in the day.. This is an EXCELLENT reproduction of a very slick bassline. Huge praise for sharing this with the world via RU-vid. I also LOVE this song... one of my faves.
Goes to show you, this is a 199.00 dollar bass. For all of you buying 1700.00 basses its not in the bass its in the hands!!! Great cover to a great song. No wonder Stu chimed in on this. This is a SUB Bass people !
Oh someone's obviously bitter jealous angry LOL. Let's be quite Frank how can someone be like this to Someone's Child though??? People who dislike this need to get they life together seriously
Julia, the young woman who looks like she should be doing some science experiments in a lab and instead is showing us what soul is. What a gift you are. Such a gift.
@@darthbuzz1 haha. Besides Julia and Davie who else do we really have? lol. btw great job Julia. ROCKIN that shit. I would love to hear Thug by ZZ Top. SLAP that like button haha
Holy moly..... She nails this song. Every detail and pop is there. Amazing!!! Great to see this generation play a real instrument. You go girl !!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Any one notice she doesn't seem to be looking at the fretboard. From what I can tell she seems to be staring off into space for the most part. Scary talent.
To discover this talented woman was a blessing at first. Then she plays one of my favourite songs bringing me back to my youth. Youre an absolute star. Thanks for bringing that awesome bass groove
I've played guitar for like 14 years. I saw one of her videos and was like "I could probably do that." Picked up a bass the other day and came crashing back to reality.
This is no surprise that Julia has this following. Listening to this was like my brain was caressed by a silk cloth, had caramel poured over it then rinsed in an effervescent stream of crystal clear water. It makes no sense, but you felt everything about it.
Just discovered this young lady a few days ago. Her technical ability is top notch! Her more current stuff you can really see her getting into the groove with each song. MUCH LOVE!!
This feels like a big ball of bass in your gut with your arms, hips, legs, and head all working around it. Funky. Great playing, go on being your funky self.
The bass playing will keep you out of the trap of working in dead end jobs that we fall into. Eventually we all have to find a way to earn a living. You have a huge headstart.
Great playing Julia. I also play a SUB. For a budget Bass they feel and sound great. I can't imagine why anyone would thumbs down this video. I enjoyed it thank you. 👍
You're so amazing, and not only that you're playing one of my favourite Jamiroquai jams to perfection. The bass in this song is just sic! Thanks for doing this so justice and a service for allowing people to see the brilliance of the Jamiroquai band
You have a gift given to you that you developed, its in your soul, you have the drive of a true musician, that passion like all those before you that have inspired you. Well done...never stop!!
