Thanks for this video. I had this problem too, and didn’t know what to do. Once I opened up the grinder and moved the start mechanism up and down, it moved like it was supposed to. 👌
mine will pop under load. Everything is greased, pretty sure I assembled it right, but I have a load and it pops the switch back. I'll have to take the switch out and look at it more. Not sure why under load it pops back. I didn't think it was that sophisticated. Mine is similar to yours but the switch does stay on when pushed.
in my case the thing that moves up and press the switch is stuck. i removed the switch, and putting heavy force to move the thing up or down, but it's like if it's glued or something. can't get it to move.
Very sorry about that, if it's stuck from the upper side by the finger placement, most likely that plastic piece has jammed on the inside, you may have to disassemble entirely and inspect that region for damage, if the damage is structural, replacement of that bit may be the only way, alternatively plastic welding-repair incase that piece is difficult to come by in spares!
Thanks My issue was the little plastic connector between the orange switch on the outside of the unit and the actual switch on the inside of the unit was melted to the windings. The plastic they used has too low of a melting temperature. The windings get too hot for it. It was easily broken loose. Thanks for pointing us in the right direction.
